The difference is that we got to see Philly fans in all their glory, and it wasn't just a handful, heartily booing the Hawks as they accepted the Cup.

Thats what I love. Every single series, the flyers players got booed in every stadium they played in, especially Pronger. But philly fans didn't boo any players. They booed the refs when they didn't agree with the call. But Briere, Giroux, Gagne all got booed in montreal everytime they touched the puck just for being french canadian. Pronger and Richards got booed every time they touched the puck in Chicago. Philly fans didn't boo a single Hawk, including Byfuglien. But when we boo Garry Bettman as he brings out the cup we are considered classless. Sure we didn't like another team winning the cup in our building but it has happened tons of times before and the home team has booed almost eveytime. But you act like Philly is the first city to do it and we won't be the last. Talk about being hypocritical.
Can I step in and boo Glen Sather? Then the Islanders? Then the Devils? Then the Flyers? Then Boston? Then Montreal? Then Glen Sather again?

Bettman: don't care. Boo him. Everyone boos him.
Booing the team who won? I don't recall ever seeing that - at least to that extent - maybe a couple people, not a whole arena. I ain't buying your revisionism.

Detroit fans last year stayed till near the end of the Penguins celebrating their Cup. That's class.
Boy what a great time to lose my career scoring leader. I probably won't need him in the playoffs.
Upper jaw fracture... I haven't had too many injuries of late, but I've had a lot of these. My guys must be knocking each other out, trying to figure out what the heck has happened to the special teams units.

well, the top 7 are all now in and the bottom 10 are now all out but going into game 38 there are still 3 teams vying for spot 8. The Rage have the inside track with 61 pts, but they face off vs. the tough Americans on Wednesday while the Hellraisers (58) get thebest77 and have a slightly better goal differential. He Hitterz are still numerically alive at 58 but would need a HUGE game to catch up in GD to the Hellraisers; so it looks for now like it'll be Force vs. Hellraisers in round 1 if the Americans beat the Rage.
wow, should be fun. Looks like Hellraisers are in good shape, but don't forget thebest is playing to avoid automatic relagation. so they may put up a bit of a fight. rage-americans game should be great.
Well the rough loss to STL has eliminated the Vowelrifics from any hope of getting beat by Legy in round 1 of the playoffs this year :/ The FO is reportedly "eager to put an end to this F***'n season".
