well, I advanced to the round of 8 today and the teams from Canada, The Netherlands and Bulgaria all lost so the 7 countries immediately above us and at least the 4 immediately below us on the ranking of countries are all now inactive.
If we DO get something for a playoff win we might move up a slot or two - but more importantly it looks like we WON'T be moving down 1 slot into the 4 team bracket.

actually, now that I look at it there are still 3 teams from countries below us active - a Lithuanian in the CWC who's slightly favored this week (+2), a Belgian (-4) and an Italian (+1) from the CL. We aren't completely out of the woods yet...the Lithuanians are pretty close.
I am really surprised we don't have more players from the US in this game honestly.
They're a whole point behind though. They'd have to make the final and you lose this round.
A lot of the hockey fans I know can't stand the "management" model of games. Also the system used here is the "International" model with the relegation and markets, etc, which is different for a lot of people.
I suppose but theres not anything else out there this fleshed out.
That's why I like XpertEleven. No stadiums, not payroll, all that mess. Just cash each week and you concentrate on your players. Not much to learn to get started and be competitive, but hard to be really good. These sorts (PPM style) of games can get overwhelming.
Yeah I tried that with you but there just wasn't enough to manage to keep my interest. I need more variables to enjoy it as much. XpertEleven would have been much more enjoyable if I saw anything.
Multiplayer? No, but EHM2007 is far far deeper and very entertaining, but it doesn't have the element of true opposition in it.
so if I don't log into soccer for 7 days I can get a new team, eh?
