There are more things that are not realistic. All games are unrealistic but have their own way of "interpret" the real life scenarios. And as always the key is to find out how, and use it.
You adapt to the game or quit. It is as simple as that.

1) vlady has said recently that he hasn't had any major news, so there's no reason to update the to-do list.
2) He also mentioned that Basketball beta will not happen at the beginning of March. He's not sure when, but definitely not in 10 days.

Okay, thanks.
But according to number 1 it would be fun if they could update just so you can se if they have worked anything the last two months. I think it is fun to look at it also to see if they have got any closer to be finished with something.
If they don't update it at all it seems like they've taken a 3 month vacation if you know what I mean...

It influences a team's defense when the other team makes fastbreak? I mean, the defenses are left looking as the other team makes a fastbreak or try to avoid?
yes, the other team can stop a fastbreak attempt or make the shot more difficult for the shooter
is there a skill or a set of skills that helps a player or a team to perform better at the end of the match?
Best by the "blocked shots" in our league I.1 is player with blocking skill only 31, so he is best defensive player in league. How important is blocking skill by individual performance?
That's something everyone needs to figure out for themselves. It wouldn't be much fun to give away perfect training ratios, but player does need more than just blocking to be "the best blocker".
