2 weeks without changes. I do not think that it is hard to fix!
Under the Lineup - Settings, where you set your goalies, 7m shooters and captain: If my player 1st in line for 7m thorws is injured and 2nd in line is away on NT duty, does that mean 3rd in line should take all 7m throws in a game? Because on Saturday that was the case and a player not even listed among top 5 took all 7m throws, while the player listed 3rd just stood there, watching...
It depends on what you need...HR has to be launched so that construction would be finished before sponsors offers...Your TF seems lower than HR but you still have to wait before launching level 10...
What do you want? Better sponsor offers for next year (money) or better training?

Forgive my insistence on the subject, but I do not understand this.
handball.powerplaymanager...
Is it a normal situation or is it something specific? Again, a team playing with different players on offense and defense and passive play makes more fastbreaks than me and has more effectiveness. Does anyone have an explanation?

It hapen all time long and nothing has been canged.
Yes I have one.
The number of fastbreaks is not determined by how much players do you substitute in the transition off/def and viceversa.
The efficiency of FB is usually not determined by the quality of the defending team's players (basically the attackers that lose the ball), but by the quality and FOCUS of the shooter (which would be a defensive player either if you substitute 6 or 2 player in the normal transition.
I speak for real handball here, I don't know how GE works. All i want to say, these 6 players subtitusions don't affect the FBs, they are only unrealistic, even impossible in the off/def transition.

Well, I disagree to some extent.
Imho the number of Fast breaks should depend on the number of players substituted by the offensive team that lost the ball (at least to some extent and if too many are changed).
These subs open gaps and if a team knows an opponent is changing a lot it will use these gaps to initiate more FB.
But ok, the engine does not take that into account when it's determining FB. But at least the FB efficiency should depend on what kind of players are on the pitch. What use is the FOCUS you speak of when the player is totally inapt at shooting?
In real life, FBs are often finalized by the fast wingers. That is one of the reasons why no team would use exclusively defensive wingers! At least I can't remember that I've seen this on professional level.

Anyway, I come to the conclusion that this is pointless!
No answer to my earlier post which I've quoted here. No comment from the devs to this discussion at all. If I remember correctly there was one post by Vlady when this discussion popped up big time. Basically the answer was along the lines, we can't say anything to this at the moment, let's wait and see.
I'm simply disappointed by the respond from PPM to the matter at hand. As can be seen by all the ensuing discussions around here, it is a topic that is of interest to many managers. Regardless if you are pro or con, some clarification would have been good for everybody!
But I guess no answer is also some kind of answer. Everything remained the same, national teams have been started this season and specialist players are flooding the international scene. So I guess things will remain the same unrealistic way.
All of this really makes think about quitting handball. What is the point in playing a sports simulator game where a central mechanism is not only unrealistic but where this implausibility increasingly becomes the state of the art? I really and honestly (!) hope PPM will do a better job with basketball and that handball was just some sort of slip.

No changes are planned regarding this matter. It's an official answer. Have a nice day.
Well, finally this is clear then, thanks. Too bad, though. Will draw my conclusions. So long, and thanks for all the fish.
Not really... the moments the atacking team makes the substitutions, the game is very slow paced with easy passes it would be very difficult to intercept the ball.
Basically, the FB comes after the following situations:
- shoot blocked by the keeper, who gain possesion very fast and launch the FB
- shoot blocked by the defense...
- turnover of the offensive team.
So, these are met no matter how much players do you substitute.
The efficiency: I think you agree that only defensive players do FB. So, how can a player in a 1 on 1 situation with the GK to score or to miss? I'd say focus or attention if you want, because, like in football's 11ms, the shooter has the main role in the finality of the phase, not the GK.
I'm also a little disappointed by the official answer regarding 6 men substitutions, but this is it, we have to go with it and I keep my point of view, they don't influence the number and the efficiency of FBs, anyway.

Why a FB is a 1 on 1. In PPM engine is 1 on 1?. I think like any other sport, handball FB can be 1 vs. 1 or 7 vs. 7.

Well, I think you misunderstood me. I was speaking about the attacking team loosing the ball and the defense attacking. In this situation the former offense/new defense has no time to exchange players big time.
Anyway, I know what you mean in principle, I do also have some knowledge about real life handball.
And you are talking about real life fast breaks. Yet, we are actually talking about something not real life. If a defense team regularly changes all players (which is not happening in RL!) the other team will use the gaps that are bound to appear (more players on the pitch). This will certainly lead to more (probably delayed, non-standard) fast breaks.
And, I don't know why you point to defensive players doing FBs. Of course they do, but in RL these defensive players are usually also good offensive players. You would (usually) not pass the ball to the odd defensive specialists you use. But if you only use these specialists...
But, this is pointless and we don't need to discuss these matters anymore. We all know it's not realistic but we now also know it's going to stay like this. Period.
