The stars of the European teams go where the best competition is, just like the best American soccer (football) players go to Europe. There is no comparison overall, take the top team in European leagues and it struggles in the NHL to stay out of the basement. Now I agree that if you take each countries stars and they play for their country then it's a different ballgame.
Strange results for my team. Last league game I've won with 8-7, today I've won with 11-7. Seems like a handball game and not a hockey one

Why every lousy golaie gets hot against my team? It cannot be coincidence anymore. I was in top 5 for shooting strength last season and my shooting percentage was 12th. It goes the same way this season.

look in div1.1 in holland! who was 1e last season and did win play-off is now 16e.

The main question is, why MY goalie was 3rd star of this match with 19/22 saves (86.36%), when opposing goalie had 32/33 (96.97%)?
Oops, he is 2nd star of the match. I'm not sure, but I think it has changed since yesterday.
They had 8 power play shots and we had 6. 2 of theirs went in and their superb goalie stopped all 6 of ours. We have better shooting and much better goaltender, but this kind of s**t is happening over and over again.
i just lost to a much worse team and actually think its a good thing. Its so much more fun when things are close and every game isnt just who has the better team strength
It's not about winning or losing this match. It's about team with shooting strength 69 having 17.54% shooting percentage and another team with strength 72 having 10.99% over 9 matches in the same league.
When comparing shooting strengths and shot efficiencies in our league, there is no correlation at all, with exception of a team with strength 28, which btw scored 7 goals so far (4.38%), 2 of them 15 shots for a win against my team, which managed to score just 1 in 36 shots.
And no correlation means it's way too random.
