Well, to be honest I can't really see what I wanted to know from this... You can send 19 players to academy, 2 players more than me (1 from facility and 1 from staff), but my question would be - do you know at what percent does the staff add the extra player to camp?

if its at 70% then I might wait for a couple of days before sending them...

You can make some math if you want !
Here are some tips:
1.Check how many players you can send without and staff employeed.
2.Check how many players you can send with staff, but, with lower second attributes.
3.Collect some more data from forum, but for people who have same SA facility level !

I already did the math, and my math says it should be at 70%, but I'm not sure so I wanted someone to confirm this

I am currently on 68% and I was about to send my players to camp today, but now I don't know any more...

How should i train a defenseman? Aggressiveness should be the 3rd skill behind defense and passing. But the guidelines state this: "Players with high aggressiveness rating and poor technique are often penalized." Should I always train technique to be around the same level as aggressiveness for defensemen to avoid excessive penalties?

I start to train technique when PIM become more then 20. I make +10 technique and then return back to normal player training.

i try to train tec to about 30-40% of agr. seems to keep the PIM down to a reasonable level for my guys.

I have all my defensemen with tec an agg at least even, or technique higher.

i don't train tec for my defensemen at all, have never been doing that. If average aggr. in my team is about 70 then tec is at about 30. i like them beating up the opponents.

In fact i have started an experiement. I'm going to train aggr. about +15 from pass. Hoping that my team becomes one of the most dangerous teams in PPM. Smashing the opponents so hard they can't move. i know it's a silly idea, but i like to experiement crazy stuff. It's about +8-+10 now, and the deffensemen are beeing noticed more often. (yes by penalties too )

Ive got all my defenders on equal tech to agg.

And as far as PIM's go, Ive got the 2nd least amount of penalties against.

Its simple for my really, I want my players on the ice as much as possible, and it works with tech & agg level.

there's way too much "random", or at least I think that it's involved when it comes to PIM...

Not halfway season and I was waaaay past my amount of PIM from last season, no clue why (not tactics related, every tactic gave me a heavy load of PIM, and yes, my tec-agr is same or tec is even higher

Mine too. I can't fathom it out. I've got the most PIM's in the league and the fewest against.

Maybe it's the opposition that is making you have more penalties.

Obviously some teams have changed from last season with the 2 above, due to relegation and promotion.

I thought of that too, but why would a disciplined team become ill-disciplined just by playing a higher quality opposition? Why would they suddenly start throwing elbows, roughing etc. The aggression levels haven't been trained to do this.
