Why?
At HA the FA market doesn't kick in til a player is 27... at least 8 or 9 seasons after you draft the player, so it's not like it's going to happen right away.
Even the NHL has a UFA/RFA system. Makes sense that PPM should have one also.

The FA system in HA doesn't work well at all. The offer for top player can be anything from zero to hunderds of millions and that's way too inconsistent. And that's not only problem there at all.
I don't know how the system in PPM will look like but I feel there's a high chance it won't be fair for all players.
Keep in mind not every IRL league has such a system. Actually I only can name NHL.

Because I get attached to my players. In the sport management games I play(ed), I tend to not trade a lot. In Battrick for instance, I am in season 15 and I still have three players from season 1 in my team. They hardly ever get a game and are by far the worst players in my team, but I can't fire or sell them.
but other hockey leagues serve as feeder leagues and have age limits so in a sense you only get the players for a relatively short period of time.
In any sport, team turnover is a good thing. Parity is such a bad word, but it makes everything more interesting. Dynasties in sports are a dying breed because the leagues don't want them.
Players need to be able to move or the rich teams have to be taxed in some way. Either with players demanding a higher chunk of the revenue pie or some other way for them to complain and move elsewhere.
This can also be a real problem with stockpiling of players and staff. They shouldn't put up with it. If they don't get play time they should demand to be released or not accept renewal contracts.
I don't know exactly what is needed, but there needs to be some controls put in place to prevent the gap from widening.
Even in my low Div III league, the gap is getting larger. The first place team is stacked for the division and any team that gets relegated from Div II unless inactive is going to be stacked as well. Especially in leagues with sandbaggers (and thats a separate issue, they should lose sponsorships for relegation).

PPM isn't fair for all players right now anyway, so who cares about another thing. lol
@Dark Don't even get me started on Parity. I would LOVE for PPM to implement a Salary Cap

I believe a player who is day to day with an injury should train. Maybe not fully, perhaps at 50%. But if he can play in a game, I think he can practice in a limited way.
I asked the same thing last year and it got rejected.
PPM Admin....
Would it be possible for you to allow us "Other World" people to vote in foreign elections?
You already make us miss out on having a NT altogether, how about at least giving us a vote in another countries NT manager????
Surely it's not too much to ask!

why? that makes absolutly no sense.
i understand your disapointment that you don't have a national team. But manager from the other world can candidate in the other countries, allowing the other world to vote in other countries would have to follow that small countries can be "outvoted" by the other world and that's not fair.

I think the other world teams should have the option to become refugees in another country. Should their native country get a national team they would be repatriated to that league.
You think that's not fair?
Put yourself in our position, where we don't even get a #%@ National Team, which means our players (and the vast majority of players are generally from your own country) don't get the opportunity to get to play on a NT.
Don't even think of using the "fair" argument!!!
