Well there is another, the club gets all the financial benefits and extra training, and he needs to play friendly matches with NT also to build up chemistry. I dont think one team is enough, disappearing and appearing again is silly. I think there should be more teams like 5+.
are those benefit really that big, ive been listening to people complain that their players are on NTs cause they missed out on their training camps.
Can you explain to me the logic of how a team that has competed in I.1 for three season can be making less sponsorship money than my team that just got promoted?
Yes my team has a slightly higher OTR, but that OTR was achieved by beating teams in League 2 and 3.
Maybe this is what the devs want, but the current system has people saying "Maybe I'll purposely lose to get demoted so I can get better money to compete." To me a system that encourages losing is broken.
I can see how this system may have been fair early on as what league you ended up in didn't necessarily indicate your teams strength. However the what has been separated from the chaff. And teams that promote or who have managed to make it to the top should be rewarded, not punished.

I totally agree with you, i have been in the playoffs in Div1. in the Netherlands for three seasons now, only three teams included mine did that, still i am one of the lower teams with the OTR and therefore i get less money for example then teams that started in div 3 and promoted two times.
I think the # of managers is a crap excuse for not doing it.
Countries could put together a NT with just 1 managers. The team would not be strong and would be destroyed, but that's actually ok. We JUST WANT TO PARTICIPATE.
If PPM are ok dumping us in "Other World" and treating us like our own country for the games purposes, then if nothing else, create an Other World NT!

hahah nice change of subject, but it wont work

A bit off topic: A suggestion which would take a lot more implementation would be to have an AI team from each country thrown in the mix - one for every country.
The AI would fill the roster, set lines, training, maybe pull a youth or sell a player once in a while - doesn't have to be much - but it'd be better than playing against Team Noname xxx - almost a novelty, really.
Similarly, there would be an AI running each of the countries' national teams that didn't have any GMs or people signing up. Everyone would have players available (as the one team alone from each country would be enough for a roster.) Again, the teams wouldn't be competitive, but everyone would be able to participate.
Way off topic: I'd like to replug my idea of dropping the records in the country drop down box on the market search page to only those groups that have their own set of leagues. That is, replace all of the countries in 'Other World' with an Other World option that would list out players for all those countries.

it was a bad analogy and no attempt to derail. Basically I agree with your points, there should be an other world NT.
Ya know what they need to make...Alien Vs Predator Vs Jedi Vs Sith. Battle of surpreme supremacy

I see two problems with the national team:
1. New friendly's can already be scheduled.
The old national coach makes the whole planing for the new one. Perhaps the new one would like to play against other teams, than the old one. And if the old coach is no longer motivated and search no friendly's it could happen, that there are no opponents left (35 national teams).
2. New selection
Player can be kicked out in the first two weeks of the season. But in the first week, there is still the old national coach in charge. So the new coach has only 1 week for the whole work, that's not enough. An other problem could be, that a old national coach select players from himself or friends in the last week and sell them (you see, i don't belive in the good in man

As a possible new national coach, the first problem worries me more then the second. I don't get why the entire friendly roster is made by the old NC.
i think they should the delete all the friendlies en give the New headcoaches the chance to make their own playing roster.
