Can i please offer a suggestion that players who play in National Teams do NOT get any kind of training bonus for doing so?
The reason is pretty obvious... not every country has a National Team, so it's a bit unfair that some miss out on those bonuses.
I would also like to suggest PPM look at the OTR system, and player bonus system in general, as it appears that teams already with higher OTR and stronger teams are going to just get more and more and more bonuses as they are in the situation to benefit better than anybody else joining today.

Not every country has a National Team but every team from every country has a chance to have a NT player.
If training bonus was removed, teams wouldn't like to loan their players for NT and National teams would lose some interest and honor from managers.

hear hear!
I couldn't agree more on both points. The training bonus given to the players is substantial on the days they're called up. This gives a clear advantage to certain select players. This is a bonus that teams without a national team will never have available.
The OTR issue seems to be HUGE! If a manager that starts out today can look at things and realize there is NO WAY to ever even come close to competing at the top level where is the incentive to continue? There are two solutions to this which I think should be incorporated into this game, or at the very least be built into future games.
-There should be parity between what the lowest team and the highest team makes. The scale should be set and all teams along the way adjusted. I think something like 100% difference would be fair. The reward for winning doesn't have to be financial. The reward comes from placement in leagues and trophies as well as a hall of fame etc (all of which should be for all managers).
I understand the system is in place for hockey so I wouldn't expect this to change here. I just hope they learn from this game model and work to better future ones.

I totally disagree! My NT players are missing my trainingscamp and get less training then if they weren't selected!
Yes indeed, but what would the point be? Even if i wanted to go out and try and train a foreign player good enough to make a NT, there are much better players and a greater number of them within that countries leagues.
Or, to put it more simply...
A US manager might have 20 US players and 2 foreign players. I might have 20 Australian and 2 US... who do you think has the better chance of being on a NT?

You can't compare NT to training camp.... how are they doing compared to a regular league match?
You raise an interesting counterpoint. The training amount received from nat team is indeed less than what it would be in a decent SA training camp. Then again, you can always run camp at a different time to get both bonuses whereas teams without access to a nat team can never get that bonus...
Antsa: you are correct in any team can have a national team player on it buy purchasing one on the market. So that means you and I have 2 chances to have a NT player, SA and market. Players in certain countries have only the 1 chance, market. That's the difference...

I would just like to point out that I already pointed out the OTR problem and was squashed under the thumb of the US I.1 members!!!!!!
OH HOW THE WORM HAS TURNED!!!!!!
j.k. I did point it out though. The top teams in the world will never be caught with the bonuses they accrue. I don't think that it is at all unlike the real world though, and someone has to bang the prom queen so oh well.

Why can't I? They are now happening at the same time aren't they?
I can't run the camp at a different time, because then I lose more matches.
I recall the first time I, and a few others, pointed it out. The biggest argument against a change then was to the effect of "c'mon we haven't even completed 1 whole season yet and you're complaining about this? Give the game some time and I'm sure things will balance out"
To the opposite, the problem some of us saw has gone just as predicted. It's created an ever widening gap between teams....

The point is that you have the option to double up your training whereas another team doesn't have that same option...
Well I would like to point out that the Force in I.1 foresaw it, ran his camps early and still dominated everything. You may lose a few games that way but you will still gain all the bonuses and other people don't have the luxury of having to make that decision.
Yeah I don't think you guys looked at it as deeply as I had at that time - I looked through quite a few leagues and saw the trend everywhere. In some leagues it worked as the top team wasn't so strong that it stayed atop - but most countries like ours it just created one mega giant super power and left the rest picking up scraps.
NT happens all year round, training camp doesn't. I would have thought that was obvious.
