It doesn't matter how long it takes for the stand to make back it's initial cost, what's important is that the investment leads to an increase to your average weekly income. That is what makes it a good investment, not how long it takes for it to pay for itself.
charredmonkey has it right... Stands are permanent fixtures of your team... Players come and go....
In soccer, I will be going from small stand up's straight to 10,000 seat double-floor multifunctional's. No lost money in demolition costs and no lost time upgrading is my reasoning.
Nice man. I'm 4 behind ya haha. I have enough for another but waiting until post-sponsors so it doesn't hinder my tv sponsor deal
Respectable. However my large standups 2400 have given me some nice ticket revenue and the media centers have helped with home pitch advantage. Can't put a dollar value on improved performance in international cups.
Also if you put money in your maintenance center and custodians you can save alot of money on arena fees
That's why we have the maintenance department, etc. They are designed to help counter the rising cost of expanding the stadium.
I did some number crunching. For my facilities and stadium it isn't worthwhile to have custodians higher than 30OR. However, once you get ramped up to lvl 15s and trip multis you need to call in the big guns, they save a TONNE of cash.
I know I lose about 10 grand on staff per day right now for maintenance but want to build home grown staff for when they will save me money, should just sell and buy off market when its worth while
Selling my assistant he was losing me 7 of the 10 grand, and he was 57, If anyone wants my excel spreadsheet for costs let me know I made a sweet one
My thoughts too. You can always buy staff cheap - custodians especially. I'll check every time I upgrade what is most cost effective taking into account their salaries (I modified your spreadsheet). Go from there.
