How much does shooting effect a defenceman? Just pulled a player with 87-89 in Def, Pass, Agr. He also has a 97 in Shooting. With his mid 60s Off and Tech he is obviously a DMan. Any advice on how much shooting to give him? Is 1-1 or 1-.5 with Def a waste? Just seems like a shame to not take advantage of the 97 shooting.

im not sure exactly sure how shooting effects a defenceman, but with all my players i try to get shooting attribute up there at least at 100. I played a league game this past friday with a D-man with 45 shooting. He's the only player on my team with a shooting attribute under 147. My Team strength shooting finished at 111 that day. Todays leagye game i played with the same line, but replaced that 45 shoot d-man with a 118 shoot d-man and my shooting team strength went up to 120. I'm going to assume that the higher the team strength shooting attribute is, the more shots on goal ergo increasing scoring chances. Anyone can correct me if i have any or all my this info wrong

This question may have already been asked but, 203 pages is long to look through... The line combinations in a game are they always Line 1 vs Line1, Line 2 vs Line 2 etc etc? And is there any plan for the futur that each line will have its individual tactics?

Each line is randomly sent out, with the amount of time played determined by your tactics.

I don't think individual line tactics would be possible but I'm not sure.

with the new general sponsor offers...if i dont renegotiate and don't make any changes, do I just keep my current sponsor offer? I originally chose the offer with bonus for ranking and set my target at 1st place. With the new possible offers, I'm getting the saw weekly contribution, but the bonus for rank 1 is lower than what im currently getting

If you don't accept the new offer, you keep what you have. For me, it's not interesting at all to turn my bonus for each win into a fixed amount each week. As long as I win a game each week I still have a better win the original one.

can you just look by pressing the button or does that send you down the road of no return ?

managers who have sponsors with bonuses have the option to renegotiate their contract.

We received a news item about the renegotiation. Click on that and you can choose to keep the current sponsor or go with the new sponsor. Like vlady said, this is only for people who originally chose a sponsor with a win or placement bonus.

This is a just in case type of thing. You might over-estimate your team or something else could have happened within your league which makes your original goals too difficult to attain. now you have this mid-season option to revert to a regular sponsor.

vlady also mentioned that this new sponsor will be slightly less than what you could have made had you hit all of your bonuses with the original sponsor. I chose the win bonus sponsor. I get 12M each week and 1.8M for each win. When I look at the renegotiated offer, it upped my weekly payment to 13.8M. Which is basically the original deal plus the bonus for one win. So it's a bit more guaranteed money, but not as much as I could make if I hit my goals.
