I'm collecting data from time to time on the market. It seems that the best moment to buy a good player at a good price is Friday around 14pm. Wednesday is not bad also, but the market tends to go from very, very bad after the simulation (13-14pm) to sometimes really good around 16-17pm.
That's calculated using the average of the numbers of the 50 players on the market front page. This is also calculated to find the best way to buy. The best moment to end an auction is usually Wednesday right after the simulation.

There is always good deal on the market. But you have to put time in it. Get the feel on what is a good price and start bidding. Keep in mind though that 95% of the time there is an overpayment on any player. Don't pay for them. Bid and bid low... and be ready to pass on many many players.
How is "Seasonal decrease of OTR" calculated? I always fall to far and it is tough to get back in the top 100.

when u win the championship and are getting promoted to a higher disivion, is there any way of telling which league your team will end up in??
