Question 2
Since when?
I just found out I have one at 19 and 6/6 too. Wasn't there a theory that 1 CL is a max. of 4 years?
Nope. As you can see by the guys with 19yo 6/6 players
In soccer, the drops didn't happen until the next morning. Although the hockey update does seem to be going faster.

If C/L haven't dropped yet, why have some of my players dropped?
I like to hear that as well. the more like like the better.
It happens when players aren't associated with a team during C/L drops. When doing C/L drops the GE cycles through the teams. If a player is not belonging to a team he gets skipped... thus guys on the market who are 6/6 and 18 and had their contracts terminated won't have a C/L drop this year.
Interesting, but it seems that some of my team dropped earlier than others because now I have no 19 yo at 6/6
Also, they age players before they C/L drop them... I'm pretty sure anyways.
Yep. That's what I said last night. Players actually aged pretty early, but the CL drops happened an hour or two later. Or something like that. I wasn't really watching that close.
