oh wow, funky typo. I musta been thinking about taking a nap. And yea, it's just the gap between my 1st and other shooters is rather big and growing. Iunno why coach doesn't send the superstar out more often.

Not a hockey question, but a site question in general.
I can't seem to find the place to reflect on my profile which languages I speak. I assume English is there; I'd like to add French.

Hey,
Click on your name on top of the webpage or on top of your last post, then you can see that you selected English. On the right of the line you will se a little +. Click on it and add French or whatever you want.

Hi guys! I'm wondering what would my incomes be if I increase the amount of seats in my arena. Right not I get about 700 000$ for 1700 seats. I'm thinking about adding an intermediate gradin with 350 seats. How much do you think I could get? Thanks.
You get $400/ticket. The question is, whenever it comes to stadium upgrades, will you be able to sell-out that section. If you can, there's another 350*400 bucks

Right now I get 680 000$ for a capacity of 1700 without seats. That makes 400$ for one ticket. How much is a ticket with a seat?
All admissions are $400 regardless of where people sit. Each stand is priced the same. Only difference is capacity and what you can build in each section.
Also remember that the contracts you sign at the beginning of the season with Team and media sponsors depend on arena capacity. If you factor in the increased maintenance cost, you will never make back the price to upgrade your stand, but the sponsor contracts and other things make it worthwhile.
So, my advice is, don't upgrade the seats until after you've agreed to the sponsor contracts and build as much as you can so that you're not tearing it down a few seasons later to upgrade it.

Yeah, we're under IIHF here.
That's also why the whistle blows when the goalie gets hit in the head with the puck.

Looking over the guide I see that I can figure out who the promotion/relegation opponents will be in my league. I have one more playoff game on Friday and if I win, I'll take home the championship and auto-promote, but if I lose, I play off against an ownerless team, so either way I will promote to I (in Other World) for next season. I'm sure I will struggle to avoid relegation, but I'm up for the task.
Promoting will come with a financial bonus as well. Any suggestions on how best to use that money?
- To maximize profit, I want to upgrade my stadium, but any upgrades I buy won't arrive until the end of the season.
- To improve my squad, I could buy better players, but it will be until the middle of the season before their chemistry allows them to contribute meaningfully, and the prices are likely higher at the beginning of the season as well.
- I'm due for some facility upgrades, but they would only gradually and slowly improve my team.
I guess I'm stuck between choosing medium and long term solutions to a short term problem.

If I want to make a PK specialist center, does he need to improve like a center with the addition of the defense stat? Or does he need to improve his center stats and his defenseman stats? In this situation would he need to improve aggression to play well in the defensive zone?
Someone might correct me if I am wrong... but there is really no evidence that defense is used with a forward. I had one complete line with 50 everywhere except goalie (way back then) and I had a 65% PK. Unless they changed something down the road.
