He sent me the message. It was more of a "why is your team playing here when you live there" message. No harm.
The rules state that it is forbidden:
to register and play in a country other than your own. In case your country is not included in PowerPlay Manager, you have to register under the rest of the world (Other World)
---
One could argue that the wording in that makes it sound like a person can only register in the country they are in at the time.

Is it really arbitrarily if someone literally moves countries?
How often does that happen? If it's a huge ordeal from an organization perspective, then perhaps:
a) Limit it to people who have literally moved countries
b) charge credits
This will stop people from "arbitrarily" requesting to move countries, and allow people that have actually moved the ability to continue playing the game and enjoying it.

Oh come on now, we're not talking about people wanting to randomly change teams. Here's a guy who joined under the country he was in at the time who has since moved back home to Canada. He is playing in a league where next to nobody speaks his language. How can he be expected to actually WANT to come here and play if he can't take part in the most basic part of the game - communication.
It's not like he's asking to be moved for some random reason. I doubt there are many or even any other managers in this guys position. This is a very rare situation, and one that surely you guys at PPM can take under VERY serious review before just shrugging him off as if you don't care.

I never said he didn't have a good reason to be moved. I was just referring to his statement that we move teams arbitrarily.
I think a petition is a GREAT idea. If the majority cause problems, people will listen. LOL
I'm not trying to cause problems, I just think it's reasonable to ask if it's possible.
I do enjoy the game, and I have gained certain benefits I'm sure. I am currently tied for first in the puck collection contest, which likely wouldn't have happened if I had a less rare Canada III puck. My players may sell for a little more because of the uniqueness factor. And nothing is stopping me from interacting on the Canadian hockey forum (as you can all see).
Besides a few other inconveniences, the only other thing is that I cannot participate in the NT system. In a perfect PPM, I envision every nation with at least one active team gets to participate in a multi-tiered international tournament. In that case, I would be happy to stay in Korea.
I fully trust that the selection method of which teams go is fair and complex. But from a users perspective, when some teams move and some don't and when some leagues get new teams and some don't, it can seem arbitrary, and for another team to join that mix wouldn't throw off that perception.

If I start a training camp this season that spills into next season, does it count towards one of my two camps for next season?
I did that for soccer recently, and as soon as the camp finished, the list of players on the "Sports Academy" page disappeared. So I'm assuming it doesn't count towards next season.
Anyone know if you can check how many days are left on a facility or stand upgrage using a touvhscreen?
Probably a moot point now but when I signed up I just told them I'm from Canada but currently living abroad and they will mark your account to not be ip-flagged.
