Why isi it that my team takes so many penalties?? theyre killing me on the PK, and im not sure why my team would take penalties : What could be reasons for this?

So does a winger not need passing at all and a center doesn't need aggression at all?

no their tech is fine, good for their levels, maybe aggression factors in?

You can set wingers to shoot or pass now apparently. But as far as I can tell Aggression doesn't help centers.

The benefits of training passing on wingers have yet to be explored. I tried it out for a while but didn't really see any advantage.

And to Henry101: is their aggression in line with the tech (ie- the same levels) or is it being trained more?

I don't know how it works, they just said passing could be used more.

The way i've been building based on that, is if I get a player that has good Shot/Tech/Agr = Winger
Good Shot/Pass/tech = Center
Good Pass/tech/Agr = winger

and then I basically train for those wingers the one attribute stronger, shot or tech

Now, will this actually work? Who knows, I doubt they will tell us all the coding and reasons and all that, but this is how i've been determining it.

I have a winger on my 4th line who is a passer. He's got good Qs for Off, Shot, Pass & Aggr. He's only playing because he's one of the higher OR pulls I've had and is still 6/6 at 18yo. I've used 2 centers with him (one as the other winger for a while) and they have a combined 14G & 9A. Toby Sayers has 3G + 11A. Last year he had 5G +16A. In 60 games, he has 10G + 33A.

He also only has 24 PIM. Which is pretty good since I've ignored his Tech completely. I think his Tech will force me to replace him eventually, but it's been fun to experiment.
