Ok, cosider there is no Izzax there. Do you think anybody with any witts is not going to think "why should I go there when I'm not strong enough". Many, and I must emphasize word MANY, teams which come in our I league, get so slapped around badly that they get sick to even continue playing.
We are talking about 80% of teams. So the system is wrong and there should be done something about it.
If Izzax's club does something to prevent legal contender to get in I league, or a club that wants to relegate by not letting him in II league, he should get penalty, not ban.

And what is going on my nerves also, is that Cavaelen has been always upset about it. He should remain silent of all people here because I.1. has only 2-3 decent strong clubs. HE is tanking there big time.

No he's not.

Look at his last 3 playoff matches, all of them were virtually the same team. He's not tanking at all.

Or are you saying that because he's from a league with less strong players that he has no right to have an opinion?

Ask some Serbian, Latvian, Slovakian, Czech...from their I leagues is he or is he not. I don't mind watching him prosper in his I league, but I DO mind when somewbody is in that situation as he is and is constantly annoyed with IZZAX case. He has to be frankly to himself also and compare his league with others. And he has the right for an opinion, but as I saw for several months now TB, he was the one who had sleepless nights because of it.

I looked and I'm amused to be honest. I have to fight for my spot in first 8.
4 or 5 teams from my league didn't get in first 8, and they are stronger than most PO clubs from international league.

Maybe he has friends in other leagues around the world who are affected by it?

Or maybe he (like me) just has a sense of ethics and hates to see people abuse the game system at the expense of others.

Yeah, but you can't compare one countries league to another really as the average strength is very different.

But... if this happened in an O.W. div 2 or div 3 league we'd be just as upset... actually, more so, as it would be in OUR league it's happening.

I in no way want to see IzzaX get banned. I think he has done a brilliant job both in Hockey and Soccer and is a great manager.

However, I do not believe losing a series on purpose is in the interests of the game. If you were a manager of a real club that did that and it could be proven you would lose your position in a heartbeat.

I was actually commenting more on the fact that he obviously doesnt see the new bonuses for promoting as good enough to bother. Thats something that needs to be fixed by PPM.

If IzzaX wants to stay in ii1 because thats better for his team i dont particularly care and can see his reasons for doing it - i just think it shows that the system is broken.

I would be very annoyed though if it stopped me from promoting, or if i kept getting beat down on in that league because a team just wants an easy run and tanks season after season.

PLEASE DONT BAN IZZAX - just make it so he wants to promote!

Gee - i have made three comments on it. One when i first noticed him climbing the standings, one when the rules changed and i assumed that he was going to promote and one when he tanked his games.

Never have i lost sleep and dont particularly care and certainly dont want to see him banned.

As for OWi1 and its ease - a couple of points.
1) Up until this season i havent been the top strength team in i1. Macabi Tel Aviv has been (i overtook at the end of last season).

2) I would love for more good teams to be in the OW league. If PPM wants to shuffle some teams so there is a more even spread then i would be all for it. It was very sad to see Ireland moved into a seperate league as it reduced the good teams in i1.

3) If you think playing games on vhigh in the finals in i1 is tanking then fine. If i could promote i would but until PPM gives the option of a 0 league level please dont shoot me because i cant do anything about it.

PPM has yet to ban people just because some people don't like what they are doing. If they decide it's agains the rules, it will be because of their decision not because people complain about someone.

But I agree with the point about if you choose not to promote, going to 2nd place and keeping those who do want to promote from having that chance sucks. But for all we know maybe he knows he can win a regulation game, and is going to go for promotion that way so the other guy can win the automatic. Who knows? It's not really for us to judge, but we have every right to discuss it if we want to

The issue isn't that he doesn't want to promote, it's that in the way he's done it, someone else is always going to get screwed over.

The problem IS with PPM needing to make promotion the best choice. How they do that... who knows. Maybe cap the sponsor offers has been previously mentioned. maybe cap the OTR also in lower divisions.
