Each day is midnight CET to midnight CET. Nightly calculations and such are conducted at 11:00pm EST which is your time zone. So every day from 11-1130pm your team will have it's financial, training, pulls/hires etc. etc. updated.
And CET is displayed in the upper right corner as
Online: 4035 - Time: 21:47:13
Online: 4035 - Time: 21:47:13
You can change that clock to say your time though.

Thanks. I had reset my clock to my time zone settings, but I think it's easier to follow the game with it set to CET, I guess. Day 10 will be here soon so I can find a better trainer.
Sure thing. I just sold mine. My team average training dropped by 13% but I'll save 15M over the next 112 days due to his salary. Be very mindful of the staff you buy. Staff come with fat contracts and can single handedly drain your finances. Don't buy any staff that exceed your facilities needs. Just a friendly tip 
I set mine to East Coast so that it matches the game time of log entries.
