Then just take the chemistry away from NT or minimize the effect of it. There are lot examples IRL that you put total starngers to same line and they just dominate the games.
There are way more examples, when total strangers in the same line perform below their potential. Chemistry is very important aspect of NT management and it would lose a lot with it taken away.
Yes you are right but it could be much faster o build up
If all of my players on my first line have a shooting over 70, how is the shooting bar that shows up on game results is showing 47?
If I want to bring a 5th line into my A squad, so to give the other lines some rest (I'd rotate them out for a week or two), is there anything to worry about with respect to chemistry?
I guess I don't understand how player chemistry works. Line chemistry looks like it is the average of the player chemistry.

if you have a few lines with almost or at 100 Chemestry, its not hard to build it back up if your just rotating them out for a week, just from what I know from re-integrating players into my line-up after injury.
So not much except for players who are new to your team.

As a former NT Manager, I say leave the WC energy the way it is. Here`s why:
1) It allows for the selection of players from a greater number teams. If Leggman, or vlaw, or ACHUJIENAS, or formiga10 burn up lots of energy in a CL and playoff run then they might get 5 players on WC team instead of 10. That gives 5 spots to players from the team`s that would be thrilled to have a player on the NT. If you want only the top rated players playing in the WC, then change the team names from USA to Irresistable Force, Brazil to GLADIADORES, and Canada to The Cheetarian.
2) It makes the NT Managers job more interesting. Do they select 12 players from a single team and hope they have energy come WC time, or do you spread out the player selections. When it comes to selecting the WC squad, there are more decisions to make. Do you select the goalie with 800OR and 96 energy or the goalie that`s 900OR with 79 energy.
3) It gives more teams a chance to win in the WC. Canada would not have made it to the playoff round last season with out the benefit of using energy wisely. It also made some powerhouse teams not so strong.
In summary: The current system enables more players from more teams the opportunity to represent their country. It also enables more countries the opportunity for success at the WC`s.

-Like- +1. High-5. Very much what I was trying to say many moons ago.
very good defense for the current system. It really highlights just how much of a national competition WC is.
Current system makes it difficult for the NT manager, but the bad thing is that there are people ready to play the most important playoff matches even with very low importance to get their players to the WC. That's a problem when two teams with NT players end up playing eachother in playoffs. They can easily select a low importance and despite that have a good chance to beat the opponent while other teams in other matches must give 100% to win. It's far from realism when a NT player doesn't try his best in an important playoff match. Or how often do you see NHL players trying to lose in purpose in the first round of playoffs so that they can play in WC?Current system makes it difficult for the NT manager, but the bad thing is that there are people ready to play the most important playoff matches even with very low importance to get their players to the WC. So the manager who doesn't use his player to the fullest to win his managers has to make that choice, use my player or not. Yes, this makes it difficult all around... guess what, it's the top tier of competition, it's supposed to be difficult!
