btw does anyone know if shooting affects the individual matchrating? would for example a forward without good shooting still be able to get a good rating?
But it is very different, 9,5 gives 10 in rating. Double both, 18=20 which is false, 18 = 18. Rounding up gives some error, and ofc chem and exp has an impact.
I don't know wich math did you use there, but 9,5*2 its 19 not 18. Still, may be its my bad english but i don't understand your point.

Yep, because he's pretty much crap. He has no secondary attributes, and the system heavily punishes players who have single attributes like this.

A good goalie should have a good balance of attributes. Most people tend to work with 100-75-75-40-25 (goal, speed, tech, head, pass) or a variation of that.
If you have a goalie who has a total AI of 500 but their primary is 350 of that, they're actually a far worse goalie than someone with a total AI of 400 who has a good balance of attributes.

I agree that good balance of attributes should give you a better player.
But... good balance means: min. attributes for max. rating. This first "wrong" trained goalie need almost the same attributes as second "good" trained goalie for 1 rating. So... I dont see the benefits of balancing the attributes.
