I see no logic that players that don't play practice more !
Playing matches should be better training that anything else.

It just seems logical to me that a player playing high should lose more current energy and therefor train less than a player playing low who should lose less energy and therefor train more. I´m just talking about the same player in the same team with the same facilities. Right now the training is the same regardless of the game importance.
ah okey, yes then it should be logical that he trains more...
+1
Those who play games should train more than bench guys who only practice. Not less.

I agree. This would make people play prospects more too. Would strike a good balance. Perhaps Regen facility becomes even more important then...
Players who play gain less training but more experience. If the experience compensates the lower training even more than its ok how it is
You mean to say in real life a healthy scratch will improve more than a guy who plays every game?
ye i have to disagree with benched players training more effectively than people who are playing, players improve irl a lot more through playing games with experience and they don't train any less.
I mean that in real life a lot of players are not playing excellent cause they train better due to playing every game but they are excellent cause they gain alot of experience due to playing every game
I see your point. But in that case EXP should be of MAJOR importance. You'll be a way better player playing than practicing over many many years.
(players that play the game, get lower training %, but comparing to trainees "compensate" that with experience gained)
So, if you plan to raise training percentage for "match" players, you should consider giving "training" players some experience too. I mean, when players are training, they listen to tips that coach gives them (theoretical are smaller than practical, but still, they are eperiences).

Nice improvement, the increased influence of match importance.
To complete the job on the sim as far as I can see we only miss a more stable (minor st dev) range on goals per shots relation.
