wow I just noticed the schedule for next seasons CL and CWC have been released. With fear of jinxing us, I have to say that I really like our prospects at doing really well in the preliminary stage at least. Our toughest guy Leggy has by far the toughest teams to face but I feel he'll do well. Since it's also some of the top overall teams he has a great chance to skyrocket his OR. Now here's where the odd part comes in. The Psychos, High Hitters and myself each have 2 teams in our bracket that I've faced in friendlies! I was able to do well against all of them so I have every faith we'll have good results with them. Now nothing is a gimme exactly, but the bracket placements seem great for us. In particular I'm loving the prospects of who I'm getting matched with

ya I hear ya. From what I can see I think we have a great opportunity to do just that!
I agree. i thought I would be getting a massive income bonus by being up here. The lowest paid team in I.1 should be getting more money than any of the top teams in II. No incentive at all to come up here if you're a lower rated team.
we have 4 strong teams this year, noone (hopefully) going awol and quitting on their team, so that is good
While I agree there should be incentive to promote I disagree that league one should make alot more money than the other leagues.
Money is what drives the team and therefore the game as a whole. If the rich get richer noone in lower leagues will catch up.
Parity is what will keep new players here. If they realize that it will take several seasons( IF EVER?) to compete with teams that have been here for a while, whats the point?
Without Parity and the ability for a new team to compete newbs will not play this game.
Maybe there should be rewards aside from cash? Credits? Better prosects? i Dunno.

Hey guys!
As you probably already know I am the new Captain of US.
I really want to be different from all the previous ones... I need to build a strong team, because without a team it is impossible to do anything around here...
I would like to hear some ideas from you also on what should be done and how it should be done!
Everyone, feel free to e-mail me and ask questions or give suggestions!

It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Think of the future and avoid knee-jerk decisions.
I would suggest to you to keep upgrading the facilities you have upgraded already. Training and regeneration will serve you best in the beginning. Upgrade your Sport Facility and Human resources later to coincide with training camps and End of season contract offers.
Arena size I wouldnt worry about too much at this time. Money would be better spent elsewhere Imho.
Play the Market if you can. Experienced teams will cast away prospects and staff that you can use right now. Don't shop for the best. Just get better than what you have for as cheap as possible.
This is basically what I am doin and have been doing.
Later, look at other teams. See what they are upto. Imitate the best.

I'd agree with most of that but go ahead and spend enough $$$ to bump your soccer stadium up to 9600 (forget which seats that is, but it's relatively cheap) and bump your small seats in hockey up to 100 each section. the cost for those two things is very small and it'll pay for itself almost right away.
I'm pretty sure he's talking about building a USA Community team, to help with his Captain duties. He wants ideas on how to propagate the game in the states, ie, where and how to advertise, how to retain managers, how to get new ones and so on. As Captain he's in direct contact with the developers, so if you have any concerns talk to him. I think that's what he's referring to.
