Very few changes in training. And the ones that have were to similar Qs for the most part. There were a few where I had no choice. I'm planning to sell everyone, so I had to get them as close to 2:1:1 as possible. But that should even out over the 5 days with weaker staff.
I am buying players though. I'm trying to bring in a bunch of 15yos and hope that gets me somewhere in several seasons (it won't, but what the hell). Most of them are training higher Qs. This will mess with the results. I wish I had thought of doing this before I decided to wreck my team, but there's nothing that I can do about that now.

One of my other staff experiments is going with no Physicians. I sold them on June 20th. I've had one 7-day injury since.
In the 10 days before that, I had one 3-day injury.
In the 11 days before that, I had one 10-day injury.
My news only goes back a month, so I don't know how many before that. But I do know that I've saved over a million bucks in the last 10 days

You can also just keep one 50/50 staff member for those positions, instead of including an assistant.
just replaced a physician who hit 61. I feel it's a crapshoot if they actually help or not...
Yeah. I don't think they matter until you post about it on the forum. Then one of your recent purchases gets injured for 13 days. I assume this is a warning, so I'm going to shut up about Physicians now.
Wrist fracture, huh? Sounds like your physicians decided to invest in a little "job security" (with a hammer).

Huh, I like training my staff as much as possible. I even train backups to take over once my older staff retire. The only ones I curb are Managers on scouting.
Cutting staff and attributes may save money, but maximizing your staff can only help your team perform and improve to its fullest potential.

Really? How much are you paying staff daily? Being conservative and only saying top staff have 100k salaries would be around 10M per week. Not including your backups. Hell no. I couldn't afford to build anything. How are you doing that and still have a nice stadium?
And staff don't mean crap if your current players aren't good enough to compete with the teams at the top of the table. I need to get facilities and stadium maxed before I can even think about doing that. In order to build, I had to cut costs. Staff was the obvious first choice.

I pay good money to coaches, Physiotherapists and managers only.
On others like Arena custodians, Sporting directors,Physicians and Physicians, i spend very little money. Not worth at this point.

I'm spending 1.3 mill a day on staff salaries. It seems a little excessive, but prior to building T15, I was up about 100 mill for the season.
Wow. That's actually a lot better than I expected when you said you wanted staff to train as much as possible. Still, you're paying 160M per season. I'm paying around 60M. Yours will go up, while mine won't.
Not including player sales, it looks like my profit would be around 200M. Your staff would cut that in half!
What's your avg training? Your team was much older than mine even before my cheap ass rebuild, but it would still be an interesting comparison. You can PM that if you don't want the world to know. I realize that not everyone is as transparent as I am about these games

Today my training was 1.105. My two coaches retired recently after turning 61, so that brings it down, and as you pointed out, older players also are pulling down the average. My player training the highest clocked in at 1.81.
1.81 training is massive. Was that during a camp or something? Very impressive if it was a regular day. It still doesn't change my opinion of the staff
Staff are temporary and so are my current players. None of them will be around when (HA!) I'm in a position to compete for home ice in the playoffs. So I'm not going to waste too much money on them or my current players. It's more important to build infrastructure. Those things are permanent.
My training with the weaker staff has been:
1.044
1.051
1.062
The increase is probably due to the added players each day. Plus a few changes in training. A few more days of this should be enough and then I'll try to move onto the 50/50 staff this week.

Not during camp, it was an 18yo with a 99 quality attribute.
I guess it all depends on your priorities. I want to play and maintain the best team possible, and even if i were to rebuild (which I have considered) there are players I want training to the max.

Ohhh. I thought you meant that was the highest average for the whole team.
Anyway. I did some math. In order to max out the stadium, including all accessories, and get Training, Regen, HR & SA to level 15, I need 1.6B. If I had a similar staff to yours, that would take me 16 seasons with my current sponsor. My staff gets it done in 8.
Of course there are other variables. My sponsors would have continued to go up a bit if I had tied to stick in I.1. And some expenses would increase as well. Blah blah blah. Dropping down to II will decrease my sponsors, but it won't be by 100M. So I'll still come out ahead.
I think the weak staff experiment is over.
My team trained 1.049 today. That gives me a low day, a high day, and two in the middle. I think that's a pretty good way to wrap that up. On to the next group.
