Well, I've played him on VL every time in recent history (probably like 4 or 6 matches because I've been in and out of 1.1). I do understand your point though and I'm a little surprised people don't go for it.

With that said, I don't mind Leggs saving energy for the Champions League. He's pretty much carrying the country in the world rankings.

With time, however, as more teams max out their facilities and stadium builds, Leggs will be caught. Like most teams, he will go through a rebuilding phase. It's just that a few teams need to be ready to pounce when he goes for it. The gaps will close in about 5 seasons time and managing will be a little different.

One thing won't change though: if you use the market to your advantage you will have a leg up on the competition, just like now.

He will quit before anyone catches him.

I already HAVE been caught. Today I'm 3rd in ranking and 11th in team strength.

It's hard to justify using a ton of energy on a game that you will most likely lose anyway. Instead, you could use it to get the advantage in closer games, which will ultimately lead to more points earned.

It sucks that this gives Leggman a rather easy road to victory, but tactically its probably the better decision.

Beat him in the regular season and he loses out on 4otr, or whatever it is. If everyone tried, maybe we could steal 4-5 wins per season. That's almost 20otr. Plus it would put him in danger of falling to 2nd. So he might burn more energy to make sure that doesn't happen. Which might weaken him in the playoffs.

We need to make a concerted effort to take him down.

The only teams who might be hurt are the ones who end up playing the relegation playoffs. But those teams are better off relegating anyway.

Season 4-6 was #1 in ranking and strength most of the year - been passed though. Other countries have more national cup games and the army of pretty tits is very active in the market and has now gotten huge resources to play with...
Am facing bad aging issues now - built a core and kept them together with no new blood too long and now everyone's getting old at the same time. Also sucks that first 11 drafts on the level 15 sa have yielded zero guys of better than 79 quality.

About your SA. Do you mean they haven't had a single attribute with better than 79Q? Or that you haven't had a player with better than 79AQ? If it's the latter, then welcome to reality I've only ever pulled two with better than 78AQ. Both 81AQ.

The only way we'll be dancing on your gravestone, and by 'we' I don't mean me, is if someone does a better rebuild than you. You might have a down season or two (2nd place? omg!) while you make the transition, but I honestly expect you to be right back on top once your new guys get some experience.

I agree with Tujague. It shouldn't be too hard to retool for you Leggs.

As for the SA, I've pulled a few players with AvQ higher than 79 over the past 2 seasons and that's why I'm retooling. Sadly, haven't pulled any THIS season.
