Importance of tactics was reduced before last season, I barely even worry about it now.
I've played the same tactics every game for 2-3 years now
used to change 'em up but not worth the thought anymore.

It's neat how the part of the game where you have to use your brain has been taken away as well....
yeah - it was always a bit of a challenge to try to anticipate what the oppo was going to do.
used to make a spreadsheet with past trends when I was running team USA in the tournaments.

But at the same time it was also overly done too, it should have an effect if you beat someone on tactics, but I personally felt it was too much of an impact. It's probably too low of an impact now, so hopefully they can find a balance.
Just as couple of guys before me I'm also done with this game. I know my players are not the best of the best but if you guys like any of them let me know and I'll put them on the market. On the different note, I have 600 credits anybody who is organizing credit tourney and can use couple of free credits let me know. All the best Seal
Seriously? This sucks! What's your main reason for quitting? Is there any way that we could convince you to stay?
How many good teams are left in the US? And by good I mean anywhere close to 100OTS.
And seal, if you want to get rid of credits, I think you can just give them to other teams or managers or something. But don't do that until you're sure you're done.
This sh*t is depressing.

Yeah its kinda silly how people are just dropping left and right. Like i said earlier, it makes sense me just to spend less time on the game, even just leave the team chilling by itself, just so it'll be there in case you want it.
That being said, I will take any leftover credits you have

Best of luck to you. You, vowels & flyers are all better at sticking to you guns then me. I had to days left before my team had auto-deleted this week and I chickened out and decided to stay. Wish you all the best! If you need a credit donor find some league 3 team. That was my plan.
I've been close once or twice to just calling it quits too but I want to see if my rebuilding / replacement strategy works well enough to compete with TAOPT and the other top European teams. Thinking it won't unfortunately...he's made enough on the market in the past to dwarf my budget (which dwarfs other people's)
The game's not as much fun as it was early on when everyone was building up (much more competitive balance) and now that there's really nothing left for the big teams to build the prices on the market will skyrocket for top level talent or prospects.
I've made a spreadsheet with the theoretical maximum values a guy can have for each age group / CL (assuming they came from a team with 15 training facility, regen facility, sporting academy and maxxed coachds and arrived early in the season) and if you rate the market guys on that scale anyone 90% of that value and up goes for at least 200 million now and have gone up about 75% in the past season and a half.
Means you can only afford to rebuild your team with lesser guys or at a rate of 1-2 guys a season...
My 'do I stay or do I go' moment is always when I re-up the pro pack - I feel I need to have the auto-practice feature and I doubt I spend more $$$ on the game so unless I win another credit tourney I'll probably punch out in a few months when that expires. I've already more or less stopped even looking at my football team - they had 'new propsects available' for 4 days last week before I remembered to check them out...

In answer to your OTS question, the top 25 teams in the US all have OTS of 97+. I myself skewed mine down to 99 because I played my backup goalie. It's normally at 108-109.
Damn this thread is getting depressing. Makes me wonder if I chose the wrong time to start playing.
Hockey and soccer? This game is going to suck if you guys all bail
