why'd the national cup start so early this year?

They decided to make them all start at the same time this season, was supposed to happen last season but got pushed back.

so it'll end earlier I guess. that kinda sucks for camp plans...

And Modano's good too Easily one of my favorite pulls (Qs=98/90/99/80). I think he was the best up until I pulled Jose Baker last season. Baker has similar Qs, but he'll spend most of his career with TF14+. He'll be really good.

Sorry about the High and all of that wasted energy (and still only 4-1!?). I had to go all out for that first win in I.1 Plus I'm assuming I'll be relegating. So I'm going to burn a ton of energy early trying to stop it. Then I'll just give up and put the younger players on the top lines/special teams for more experience.

How good is your team? I was going through the team strengths to see how many of you I will actually bother trying against. It's more than I thought to be honest. Including the Islanders at 118, which might be stretching it, and the Sparhawks, there's 8 teams who will be fighting to avoid automatic relegation. Sure, I'm nearer the bottom of the list, but I have to say I'm pretty excited about the possibility of even competing for a spot in the promo/relegation round. That's much more than I expected from this season

ha no, most of my guys were starters, but I was on very low and 3 lines instead of 4 lines I usually play, etc. It's going to be a struggle to stay out of the bottom 4 for everyone, unless people decide to quit. I hope not to maintain due to that, but we'll see how things play out.

I really hope no one else quits. We need some damn stability in this league. It sucks to see dead teams in I.1 every season.

On a happier note, I only lost 1-3 to Razorbacks! I expected a beatdown of epic proportions so I used my backup goalie

This is a great way to start the season.

I held Force to 4 goals I was happy-ish. Psychos got me on tactics so the spanking I deserved came down the pike.

Ok fellas, I have only 1 day til my team is deleted so I figured I would say my goodbyes now. I have grown bored of the game which is causing more annoyance than enjoyment anymore. I have been playing since the beta days so it is finally time to move on and find another game. It has been a blast, good luck to everyone going forward. I have placed most of my roster on the market so they can move on and help other managers.
