Question - In S9 when PPM adds U21 and U18 National Teams - what happens with young players (i.e. age 20) who are good enough to play for both the Senior and U21 team? Are they eligible for both? Or are they limited to the team corresponding with their age. Important to know now as I'm playing the Senior Roster for this season and beyond.
Why's there never any love for Robin Howes ? 21, 5/6, 823.
I have some other players that will probably be good for U18 and U21. Let me know when you want them.

Oops - I didn't put him on my list but I do have him scouted and followed (it's a long list of all top talent in Canada that I've been scouting since S1)
To be honest he's probably a better option right now than Carlson but I'm keeping Carlson due to his 91 Exp and solid team chem.
If I added a guy I would likely go with Rickie Dick or Colin Gagne over Howes.

In regards to U18 and U21 Candidates on your team - I'm currently following and have scouted these three:
Joel Moisan
Honoré Bellaire
Brendon Crook
am I missing anyone that should be considered?

Well I've scouted and follow a few of your Cdn players:
Gilles Hébert
Georges Irvine
Gunner Knight
Fernando Carlson
Kelby Beard
Jay Webb
Bradley Dyche
Al Dion
Bennett Gardhouse
I'll keep watching them as they progress. The addition of U21 and U18 next season should see a few of your guys in the running

I'd hope so, all I.1 teams should contribute... we don't have enough academies to compete otherwise!
Sweet, there are now 3 players from team Godot! Sadly, one (Innis) is a former Godot member. surprised to see his OR grow that much.
Quick update on our NT for Season 8.
All friendlies have been scheduled. We'll be playing Norway, Estonia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Sweden, and Finland. Note to any future NT Managers. The first two slots need to be filled at the end of the previous season and the next 4 happen right after elections and happen very fast.
Our World Championship Qualifying group has been set. We're in group 5 with Serbia (ranked #4, Belarus #29, Netherlands #35, and Denmark #21). We're presently ranked #14 based off performance from the last 3 seasons - but our ranking will vary throughout the year based on wins/losses in all games. We need to finish top 3 in our group to move on to the finals. Last season we finished 2nd in group qualifiers behind Latvia but ahead of Czech Republic, Belgium, and Greece.
We've already played two friendlies this season - losing to Norway and getting a tie vs Estonia. These games don't mean much ( a few ranking points) but are a great opportunity to build chem. Consequently, I'm playing guys who have low chem (new additions or not much use last season) so they can be ready to help out once qualifies commence. The friendlies don't drain too much energy so I played on normal to get a bit bigger chem boost.
I trimmed our roster this year by getting rid of some solid vets who were all going to be back-ups. Added younger guys with high AVQ% who will eventually be starters but they'll need a few seasons. Hoping to get them into some friendlies if I can so they get the training boost all NT players receive.
Let me know if you have any questions.
note: currently working in U19 and U21 rosters. Check out those threads if interested

World Qualifier Opener Vs Netherlands was a Success (36-24).
Gave our back-up goalie the start and he got the job done. Easy way to save 2 points of energy for Malcolm. Also played on H all game so we saved a bit more energy there.
They were only ranked #35 vs our #15 so we were expected to win. We got a great performance from Dion, Morrissey and Coates.
From our Group, Denmark beat Belarus as expected and Serbia had the week off.
Next week we faceoff against #6 Serbia so that will be our biggest challenge of the qualifiers.
