Alright made our last roster move today. Added Kristopher Dion and dropped Carlo Tait . Tait is better now but won't get any play time. Made this move thinking one or two seasons from now.
We lost 31-26 to Slovenia in our friendly today. We outshot them and had less turnovers but are low chem was an issue.

We picked up our first win in a friendly vs the United Kingdom. Still building chem for our starters.

I had Ty Clipperton in that position. He had a bandaid with 1 day left so I thought he'd be okay to play. Not sure if NT is different than my regular team.
Must admit I was very disappointed with our loss to Belgium. We needed to beat them and the lost makes it pretty tough to qualify.
Their Goalie Edwin Van dijk was phenomenal with a 48% Save Percentage.

Doug Dion 4/6 on FB's and a ST
Jerrell Stewart 9/18 and 2 A's
Disappointed with:
Brant Duchesne 2/9 = 22% and 2 TO's
Phil Keen 5/14 = 36% and 3 TO's
Jonas Vinnicombe & Ken Moodie = Wings Combined for 1 goal.
Next game vs Greece is a must win. No Excuses

I would have expected him to play too. Too bad.
Playing balanced usually results in one back taking shots from 6m line and the other two shooting from farther away. I wouldn't be too hard on Duchesne and Keen since 7/8 of their shots came from the 9m line. Up close they did much better.
May I suggest playing VH? Energy means nothing if you don't make it to the next round.

Surprised that balanced resulted in 52 shots from our backs and pivot and only 2 from our offensive wings.

That is pretty weird.
Solid win against Greece yesterday. Not sure why we gave up so many Fast Breaks (13) but other than that it was a well played game.

Solid win today vs #6 world ranked Latvia. Surprised to see us beat them by 13 point (33 to 20) when both teams played on VH.

Are you happy with the build on Vinni? I have no issue switching it up a little if needed. But I've found that offensive wingers have never really been dominant players in the game, for whatever reason.
He's got a career 60.3% Shooting Percentage in 44 World Championship matches and a career 69.6% in 200+ regular season games. Unfortunately, he's only clicking at a 20% in our 3 WC games so far this season. It's either bad luck or I'm not setting him up to be successful - No concerns with the build at this point.
