The deadline to submit a logo or mascot is tomorrow.
Starting next week, I am going to start playing all the starters, even if they are in camp, for chemistry purposes. It would help if camps could be finished in the next few weeks. Thanks again to the managers who have been running camps over the last few weeks.

After his awesome performance in the last game, Rodney Davis gets a break this week and is headed to camp.
(Perry Mead too, but he's just a bench-warmer for now.)

Davis did great on the first line last week. Mead will be part of a group in two seasons that is very promising.
I guess I'll use substitutes for one more week.
I'm going to adapt the logo I had originally prepared for the first bid that I made for this one and otherwise use the one website/mascot that was submitted.
The United Stats will play Brazil next week.

I can stil add someone as an organizer who can write a paragraph (including something about the arenas, logo, mascot, website, United States, and World Championships).
Here is the logo I put together for the bid: prntscr.com/3psn1m
This is the mascot: prntscr.com/3dx2mg

I am playing the roster that will start, barring injuries, for the World Championships tomorrow and the following week for chemistry purposes, though I took the players on the bench who were in camp off of the roster.
Novak and Woodson from the North Stars seem to have ended up on good teams, though it is too soon to say whether they will ever be starters, especially since the 16 year old class looks especially strong.
Finally, since the World Championships are approaching, and it doesn't look like any other veteran teams are about to fold, I used up the 3 remaining spots for some extra substitutes. I added Gus Kramer from the Spirit Crushers, who is about as good as any of the defensemen not on the roster. His OR isn't extraordinary, and he isn't quite as good as the really good starting defensemen that the team boasts this season, but he could prove useful as a solid and versatile substitute. I also added Spike Libby from the HCD Crackers. He is easily national team caliber with 953 OR and other good stats, but center just happens to be a very deep position every year. Finally, I added Noe Newsome from the Westchester Red Wings. Of course, it is very likely that these players won't make the final World Championships roster unless there is an injury, but it will be good to have insurance (unless it turns out that the team needs another LW).

The roster looks very promising, with 12 players with more than 1,000 OR, and most of the remainder of the starters approaching 1,000 OR. There are also 4 1,100+ players and one player approaching 1,300 OR,
The United States won against won 6-3 against Denmark (making this the second win against them), a divisional rival in the upcoming World Championships. All 4 lines contributed, and Lenhart was good in goal. The United States powerplay, which has often struggled, managed to add 2 goals in 5 tries, while the penalty kill was perfect through 6 penalties. The United States aso dominated the faceoff circle.
For possibly the first time this season, the United States played with a full roster. All 4 lines look good, and the first line defense and offense and the second line defense look great. Goaltending is good, if necessarily not among the best in the division. What is most encouraging is the very good shooting on all 4 lines. The competition looks difficult, but this team is looking like one of the best in the time that I have managed the team.
As KillerPuck212 mentioned, Curtis Shaw is available. He should easily make the U20 along with Lenhart. Lenhart has better qualities, but Shaw has kept pace with Lenhart anyway.
Next week, the United States will play Portugal. In two weeks, the World Championships will start with a match against Portugal. If you have a player that started for todays match and still have one or two camps left to run, it would be helpful if it could be (if possible) in the next two weeks. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

The World Championships are approaching. The first game will be against Portugal. All the teams in the division are about even, including the United States, Portugal, Slovenia, Canada, Denmark, and Belgium. The final lineup is set, unless there are injuries before Saturday. This is the last chance to start a training camp to give your player (if called up) a little extra OR before the World Championships.
It's also time once again to start planning for next season. I have a lot of the contenders for next season already scouted, but I could still use a little help. I will try to compile a list of players I am interested in but won't be able to scout before the deadline within the next week. All volunteers to scout some of these players and upload them to the database after the start of the next season are welcome.

You know I've always got spots for you. I'm only scouting I.1 teams at the moment, so I can free my queue up.
