Thank you! I hope the team will be able to stay in the top division.

Since the 16 year olds won't really get to play this season, I am going to scout and add the ~6 16 year olds that I usually add later in the season, if I return next season, so I am not going to list them now. I would also leave 5 slots open once again in case another good team ends up folding.

I will wait to see what the final lineup looks like before seriously considering playing the 17 year olds more often.

It would be helpful if everyone who is helping with scouting could upload the players they have scouted very soon. I will need to plan the roster in the next few days.

Who do I need to scout?

Going to be out of town Friday - Sunday. The players I'm scouting should be uploaded Monday if I remember.

I've put together a preliminary roster. I will update it as more players that other managers are scouting that are interesting are uploaded, if I win the election.

For anybody scouting players I listed or for anyone with other interesting players on their roster that I may or may not have already scouted, if you haven't uploaded those players, it would be extremely helpful if you could upload them at your next opportunity, whenever that may be.

The roster is relatively average, beyond perhaps Shorter, though the depth on the roster is generally solid (I wasn't forced to use many especially weak players). There is a dropoff in talent beyond the players on the roster; a lot of the 17 year olds on the roster are already better than the best 18 year olds not on the roster. The depth beyond the roster is especially weak on defense - I was forced to consider the 700-800 OR defensemen. Last year, the majority of the roster had at least 800 OR. It will be tough to stick around in the top division, but it probably will not be impossible.

I guess you can start thinking long term like you wanted to anyway. I'd still play Ty Shorter though. Make him ready for the U20
