I still don't understand how can we avoid penalties for centers ? Training more tec ?

No, you did not waste your time training them like that, but you will waste time training them like that in the future. Is it ok they changed it ? I don't know.
Also, those who trained their attackers to have shooting lower than secondary - they did wasted their training.

oh, and another thing. until last season, having even a microscopic advantage in this ratio compared to the other team, would give that team a huge advantage in penalties taken. we fixed this and now it is much more realistic

Centers will get fewer penalties than other players just by the virtue that they dont practice aggressiveness. You needent worry about them

So no matter what is his technique level, any center has a chance to get a penalty ?

every player has a chance to take a penalty. thats the nature of hockey. If you train center in aggressiveness, he will take more penalties just like any other player. same conditions apply for centers. I never said the conditions were different.

Yeah I saw the news about the change, but I guess I am just unsure as to how this change affected the game or really my team for that matter. I dont remember all the specifics that were said about the change on penalty calculations but obviously my team has now become flawed.

Where do you get that there is a ratio for each position. Again if we follow logic tech help keep them down & agr brings them up & Centers have no use for Agr really but they must be able to get penalties. All of this makes sense but I see now way to find a raito that make sense when the only 2 atty's that are mentioned when it come to penalties are tech & agr.

Ok so my penaly differnce caused me to have much less than everyone in previous seasons, but if it was fixed, shouldn't it have put me closer to average and not on the other extreme? No I know we have only played 5 games and thats a small sample for me to say that things seem totally differend but if patterns continue I will have as many penalties this season as I did over the last 2-3 combined.

You may also count on your opponent's strength, choice of tactics (importance & tactic), energy, and some more stuff coming into calculation, not only the tech/Agr ratio

Yes mate, but imagine that defenders don't need technique while wingers does. Why should I train both types of players at same level of technique ?

I don't think that tactics or energy has anything to do with penalties.

Well on his last Game 3rd period he pushed the importance from VL to L and got 4 penalties...end of the Game with 3 lines. Just a guess^^

I dont really have an answer. I use to think I understood this game but I guess I'm back to "pissing in the wind" & I just hope I'm not hitting myself in the face.

I'm pretty sure Vlady has said in the past that the higher the importance the more intense the team plays, and intense plays can lead to extra penalties being taken.
