Tis so true SM. Just like when I face a team with double my strengths, I go in thinking I can win that game. Do I? Never. No chance in hell. But if I keep going in believing myself I still find fun in playing.

I remember reading somewhere in the guide that passing is key for powerplays, is that still the case? If not, how should I set up my PP lines?

I still add passing to my wingers. Put them on the PP. Results are... inconclusive. Shooting really doesn't do much these days anyways.

It is okay, but there are conditions. First, you must alert your countries Captain. Second, there can be no interaction between the two teams. I think you can play friendlies, but you can not buy players from each other.
i also dont think youll get any bonuses for the referal but im not 100% sure.

So, I've been playing for a while, and I'd like to study the impact of different strategies and training etc. Would it be easier to start a small group of team owners that we share data with, or to just follow and study these discussion forums?
Likely a small group. What exactly are you trying to test?
Skill ratios, training percentages, etc. I'm envisioning a group of people who aren't afraid to share information about their teams, so it would have to be with people from different countries or people who would agree not to use that information in match prep against the other teams.
Simply put forth a request for help in the major english speaking Q&A forums. See what kind of response you get.
