Of course. Players contracts are climbing each year (doubling more or less). 5k to 10k a day... big whoop. But you start getting 40 players averaging 200k/day each in salaries you're looking at close to 1B in expenses just in their contracts. Now, that's still many seasons away. Maybe 10 more when/if players reach 2,000+ OR. But what do you do then? Axe players and only have 2 strong lines (which is realistic)? Or do axe facilities? Staff? That's when things get interesting. I would be disappointed if they expended the maximum facility level... it would only further the gap between haves and have nots.
In addition, things are going to get really expensive for top teams once the players they pulled from a level 15 SA and trained with a level 15 TF (and therefore will be the about the best possible players that will ever be in the game) hit free agency.
The ideal team of the future won't be like it has been, with a bunch of kids who train quickly. Instead it will be a team of fully trained guys in their 30s, who also have a lot of experience built up, but haven't yet gotten to 0/6 CL and are losing attributes. Holding on to more than 1 or 2 lines of guys like that will probably be difficult to impossible.

question, will the chemistry from u18 and u20 teams be retained once they move onto u20 and senior teams?
Absolutely, the financial cost "should" make it impossible to stock a team of those types of players. Only time will tell if this is the case or not thouggh.
Ideally, like I've said, you should only be able to afford 2 solid lines. The rest should be rookies/high exp low OR players...
Yep. It will be interesting to see "if" this is how it plays out. Teams who are stockpiling cash by trading players right now could be setting themselves up for a monster team in seasons to come. If i could go back and trade to save cash i'd do it in a heartbeat, as clearly that's how almost all the strongest players have done it.
I really hope PPM get on top of things like that before we get to the point where we have these monster teams.

I would say transfer fees shouldn't be capped at 50%.
Of course, the problem is we get so many players each season from the sports academy that people have to sell them.
Then again, just because we're given players from the S.A. doesn't mean we must take them. I've only taken 1 player from my SA in the last month for this reason.

Agreed. You feel compelled to take them, but I hardly take any anymore for that very reason. They're a solid 4+ seasons away from cracking the lineup anymore... and that's *IF* they are good prospects.
When does the final round of playoffs start? I assumed the games would have been scheduled to start today, but that doesnt seem to be the case.
There is still one game that needs to be played in your league... which I guess is today? Then it will update.
It will go Tuesday Wednesday Friday with P/R going MTW the next week.
