As a proud standing member of PPM I have to stress a major issue with the national team. Remember to "support" whichever manager you feel should lead the team the next season. And please think clearly when deciding.

I know many people want to have a shot and feel they can do the team good. But it is way harder than you may think. We're not talking about steamrolling bots in league IV to a decent standing. We are talking about the best Best BEST players and manager of their region in this game.

And I know you may have a friend who is running, but you have to make a clear, concise decision as to who you want to lead. Does that mean that they have to be in the top leagues? No. Not at all. But they have to have a grasp of every aspect this game has to offer. The ability to focus and put in extra leg work for the National Team while in the playoffs for their regular team! To multitask, but put more emphasis on Team Canada. It is way more work than putting together some line and playing three tactics.

So please, support a manager you know can do these types of things.

Well basically saint2e is going to be the manager again, since there are no real challengers to him for this season, so it's not something you need to really worry about this year.

at 16 years old, he's top 15 OR in Canada. He should be playing in at least the non important games.

So now that the game has started, I'll let everyone know that I'm playing Low Importance today to conserve energy for the Playoff Round. My goal is to make it to round 2 in the playoffs at least.

Yup... Throwaway game. I tried to be tactical about where we place, but looking at Group 2, it's a crapshoot. Russia is underperforming, so even if we ended up getting first, there was a chance we played them.

I figured it'd be best to conserve energy and give it our all against our first round opponent.

Latvia and Lithuania won, so we have locked up 3rd place. We play the 2nd place seed of Group 2, I believe.

Currently that's Spain, but we'll see what happens after Group 2's games.
