This will quite possibly be the best showing by Team Canada in the Preliminary Round. Here's hoping that we can continue our efforts into the next round and make the Playoffs this year!!!

It looks like we've almost qualified for the knockout round. We're atop Group 1 with a 2-0 record and +7 since the Finland result was dropped. 3 games and a 6 point and 13GD lead should be enough. A win and we're in basically. The 2nd game against Lith. will be the key. Good job!
Overall we're 1-0 all-time against Lithuania, 1-2 all-time against Slovakia, and 1-1 all-time against Latvia. So we've beaten every team that we're facing in the second round. Things are looking good for us

Basically I'm going to go with the best goalie, with energy in mind. So we may swap back and forth a couple times as energy is used.

I'm glad Garnett got a game in. To be honest, not sure what Luddy's energy is but he'd be my go-to next round for the big games.
Nice going guys--you've been doing a bang up job on tactic selection.
Good strategy there saint2e. Way to use depth to your advantage by playing high energy games and rotating players.
Ludlam is 90/90 right now
That's pretty good! Newton is 88/88 but Garnett is 96/96. For the difference of 6 energy I think that Ludlam should be the go-to for the next game. But I'd still use Garnett for one and heck maybe even the drunk Tierney for the other.
I'm keeping a keen eye on our pucks/stars as well... My script that I use is not 100% accurate, so I want to make sure we use the best players available on a game-to-game basis.
I love when Tierney doesn't play. He trained at 2.96 last night.
