Did we lose all the candidates for the elections once again?
Well, we took Latvia all the way to the shootout and then lost... Tough way to lose, but a testament to our team and players.

Great effort CANADA, to push a much stronger team to a lottery.
I cleared out the players on Team Canada to avoid a situation where we had players last year that wouldn't couldn't drop and we never played.
This way the incoming GM can completely pick their team and not have any players hanging around from last time.
There is a friendly potentially scheduled for next weekend, so if that goes through I'll pick the minimal amount of players to ice.

I may be mistaken but I think when a player is dropped by the NT all their chem with the NT is lost... some players that's 3 seasons' worth.
Ouch... Wish I had known that... OH well, it's done.

The outgoing manager's ability to drop players is probably a system bug that can be fixed.
