meh, they look out for people in div 1, people in division one are getting the advantage, so they will never change, besided they have known since season 3 when the 1st batch quit over it, that means they do not care as long as they get cash.
But I think it's fair that people in the first division should get an advantage. Otherwise, what's the point in trying to promote each year?
They have built the game after the European model, not the American with franchises. If you don't do well you relegate. Simple as that.

I agree 100%, people who earn their way up deserve an advantage. Look at Leggmans history, tell me how earned his way to div 1.

Good luck in finding a game that is fair enough for you. I'm sure there is a sim out there where everyone gets the same players, money, and facilities, and everyone takes home 1st place and everyone gets to be happy.
He may not have earned his way up but he was also a really good player in the beta, he's a really good player across multiple sports sims. He gets good players, he trains well, he communicates well and he just happened to win the lucky draw BUT ALSO capitalize on it. Others were in his shoes and didn't do as well.
I don't see how the single team at the top can dissuade you from beating the other few hundred teams in our league / country and others. Leggman will get caught, but not for a long time.
I didn't quit the game in protest though, I'm just pointing out and executing the only other way to catch up and benefit. The game's broken no doubt but leaving will never solve it, pointing at the guy at the top and screaming not fair will never solve it.
Find a solution and execute.

I'd go back to your known keeper and ride him out. He coudn't just go bad all of a sudden he's just having a bad streak. I doubt they'd write it in to last for a huge amount of games.
The advice to change him out may have been a knee-jerk from some. I lost a few games last season that left me scratching my head as well - just a part of the engine no 9.

Whoo, out of the basement for now. Feeling like I might be able to stay up in this league with you guys for a bit.
You'll do more then fine.
This season's schedule was extremely stacked with the top tier teams on one end and the lower end teams on the other. Like me, you started the season off with the top tier teams and, like me, your now starting to hit the softer part of the schedule.
You should stick for next season and beyond based on your team strength and the possible incoming Div III teams.

I think they made it clear that goalies will go through hot and cold streaks. My main goalie was sucking a couple of weeks back. I put in my backup and he did OK. Not great, but he let in fewer goals than my #1. Then this past week I put in my starter again and he did really well. Friday he stole a win by standing on his head. I'm hoping he rides his hot streak for all next week too.
I thought they were talking about goalies going hot and cold just on a per game basis. Like, if he lets in a couple goals early, his "confidence" for the rest of the night would be shot; where as if he was making on a lot of saves early, he would be more likely to stand on his head the whole night.
I'm considering becoming a lot more inactive. It seems there's nothing I can do to improve my team game to game. They either play like they should play or they were all drugged before the game. Or the opposing teams are all given steroids and my team missed the party. There is so much bs this season, it's ridiculous.
