Good series Crackers - you're going to be a tough tough team to deal with next season.
Well done Opivy. If you promote you'll get that huge bonus, plus retain a huge share of the OTR so you should get a pretty sweet deal from the general sponsor. I think you'll be a force immediately in 1.1. I'll say you should target top 8, but I think you have a top 5 team.
I'm coming for you next, Huggy Bears! I'm aiming for 9th this year, and playoffs the next 
I don't have a top 5 team I have a top 10 at best. My team is older and weaker than most - they've had money for a bit longer to build, I'll make an impact in the first season and start to dwindle. The key will be to use the money I'll get from this promotion and the slight OTR bonus from this season to get the finances well off and hopefully start challenging in another 4-5 seasons.
It sucks that Wolverine is out for the series. Good luck - hopefully we'll both Promote!

Well there is apparently a problem - game was tied after the first and I put in my backup goalie? I have it set to put in my goalie only if I'm trailing by two goals or more after the first and one goal or more after the second.
OR apparently 3 or more goals after the first period so I did follow my own set up. You lit up my top goalie early and I auto pulled him and ended up loosing in a shootout. I'll obviously have to up my energy usage but I dominated posession, shots etc....
I tried to start my energy at normal to avoid penalties going in because I have the stronger team and I was confident you wouldn't hit the tactics. I don't know that it backfired because my goalie let in so many freaking goals... kinda confused if it was a "bad goalie" matchup or what - the much weaker backup played much better than my star so it's just one of those games. I will come back in game 2 with a vengeance.
I knew I wouldn't get your tactics so I just tried to avoid you getting mine. I think your goalie just had a bad game at the most inopportune time. And I'm hoping you'll come back with a vengeance. If I promote, I'll be dragging at the bottom for four months which would be very discouraging.
I don't think you'd be super competitive in I.1 - the promotion bonus and money would be a huge benefit, you'd end up having a crappy season but the brightside would be that you could build build build and come down to dominate a II league next season.

Ugh, really disappointed with the loss today. I knew it was going to be a close game, but with the bears only on normal and running 4 lines, it's quite depressing. Even if I did only lose my one.
That was a game you should have won. You outshot and out possessed me on the road. I wanted to save some enegy in the event the series went 3 and almost paid for it. Goodluck tomorrow in game 2. I am the defending 9th place team so your going to have to take it from me
I'm in shock right now. This was so unexpected. I had a horrible regular season compared to last season so I thought I would continue to regress a bit in the playoffs. I had a favorable first two rounds but I really did not expect to win a game against you opivy. The first game was complete luck but I did think I figured out your tactics for the second, which was correct. Still did not expect to win. I have all the respect in the world for you. I've been chasing you since season one in division III.6. I hope you promote as well.
