The "spend your money itch": got the better of me. I bought a player for 7 mil. I have an addiction. However I plan to get him to about 420 OR and sell him and double my investment. To make this a question... does anyone else play the market to sell later?
every player I buy I plan to sell. Most won't be around long term. I tend to buy projects that are out of ratio to get them in ratio where they will sell for a lot more.
I usualy buy players 4 sell
. i have about 30 to put on the market but i'm waiting until they reach 120-60-60 for a better payment

I do. But I'm going to get out of it. The profit from selling much of the time won't cover the expense of buy + salary for the days they were there... which will become more and more true as salaries get higher and cash gets tighter.
thats why i subscribe to the use 'em and lose 'em method. They have to be productive in some manner if I'm going to build to sell. Often, they are stop gaps for where my real talent is being developed.
Absolutely agree! I often buy players who I view as 1 season rentals with an eye to sell them at a later time. During their duration however, they do play games. In fact, i will only buy a player like this IF they are going to be productive. Ironically, 2 players i picked up 3 seasons back for this purpose are now regulars on my team because they played so well. lol
true. u never know what surprises can get off the market. when i'm buying i go crazy (probably my feminine side comes and takes over
) and don't stop until i'ved spent all my money. in a weird fashion, i'ved picked up some very interesting players for s**t money or the other way: payed way too much for dumb a***s

Last season i paid good money for a defender who at the time was a great buy... looking at him now i wonder "what the hell was i thinking".
Fellas, pull your head out of your va***as and toughen up....
I refuse to spend big cash on a player. Too much of a risk. I tend to buy lots of "projects". But I guess that is why my OTS is lower then other I.1 teams. They splash the cash on the market.
