Modano wanted to retire a Star. A few years back Doug Armstrong, GM at the time told him he would retire a Star, at his choosing. 2 years back Brett Hull, co-GM at the time publically told him he would retire a Star, at his choosing. Now GM Joe comes in and shits on what everybody knew to be a given... Modano would end his career in Dallas. We (Stars fans) are so angry with GM Joe... it's almost primal

eh. that's only the legend. he actually was from the center of the coutry. his former palace is now just ruins (Poenari is the name) and so 4 turistic reasons they decided to put the Bran Castle as his former home. Don't know about the vampire thing but he was a very good ruler. in his time nobody stoled, raped or killed as they risked being literally pull thru a wouden stick. he killed almost all the rich and powerfull when the country was goin bad and was ofcourse loved by pupil. heck. we need one guy like that to rule Romania now.
i was born 50k from the real castle and lived my chilhood at 4k distance, going almost every week there. is on a top of a mountain and u have to climb about 2500 steps to reach it. now my parents own a house near by and rent it for turists like everibody else in that area
