The USA lost to Spain in the shoutout 2-1. We picked up a point and now barely sit 1 point above Italy for the final spot. Tomorrow Italy plays sixth place Norway while we play vs 3rd place Slovenia. While the United States controls its own destiny it will be be a close call. If the USA wins vs Slovenia we move on either way. If the USA loses and Italy loses the USA moves on If the USA loses and Italy wins Italy moves on. Slovenia is playing to possibly move into second place in he group which would get them a better matchup. I cannot expect them to sit back so we need to play hard and take it to them.
