Why is the player of the match the away team goal scorer (Bruno) and not the home team second goal scorer (Nikolay)?
They have the same stat's but Bruno even committed a foul..?

I think it is because of player rating.

When will people learn that stats dont say the whole story. You only see assists and goals and fouls.

And shots and offsides.
Then I think it is important to show us some other aspects of players influence on the game. There is no any explanation why Artur Slyvchenko became a MoM instead of Borys Gavryk . I don’t like an idea of higher rated player always to have better chances to become MoM.
Maybe someone can explain it to me and convince me that I am wrong? I will be very happy.

I think one aspect made him the player of the match was that his team was worse then the other. Therefor he had to do make the opurtinitys by himself, and not with the help of the team.

The two goalscorers in the other team did get more help from their teammates, and therefor there wasn't some specific player in that team that did it as good as Bruno.

Since when is that the case?
I know the only things that used to matter were: goals, assists, shots on/off target, fouls and cards and in case a goalkeeper was MotM he had to have lots of saves.

The problem is just as @o2407 said, we have very little information and that's generally speaking. We only know the basics but really don't know how and why things work the way they do. That's why there's so many disappointed managers and all those complaints about random and bad engine. Because we don't know how things work.

I really don't know why the devs won't give us a bit more information, I know it would make me happier. My guess is, there are errors in the engine that they aware of and don't want us to know about it OR they have no clue whatsoever and don't want us to know about it.

Furthermore, they seem to be changing thins without giving us notes about it. Take sports academy for example which is a disaster this season.

That's what I've been feeling as well the whole season: no idea if dev's have changed something, but it's been the worst season BY FAR regarding to players from the academy...

The way the engine works is a trade secret. Coca cola also won't tell you their recipe. We can tell some things and others are part of the trade secret. I am always willing to explain things and tell people as much as I can, as you know yourself from our PMs.

How does shooting work, is the average of the team taken into calculations or does only shooting skill of the player in scoring chance matter?
Do messages from live match report mean something, is there something to 'read between the lines'?
Another thing, are the player's names mentioned in an event in live report randomly picked or is it calculated, for instance when a defender's name is used in a scoring chance - was he really there or was his name randomly chosen?

some names are picked according to what really happened, others are filled in randomly. For instance the shooters, goalscorers, assistants, corner kick takers, free kick takers and those who send in a cross from play are all real.

What about players who commit fouls and receive cards?
