about attacking midfielders, did u train their offence attribute?
Training defense for defensive midfielders or shooting/offense for attackint midfielders doesn't make any difference or even if it does, it's very, very small.
how than he had attack 9 without attackers and midlefilders on front side.... i think there is big influence...

Maybe it doesn´t influence on rating (though it should), but in the match report we can see less/more attacks if they have more defense/offense.
Hm..now the question is, why doesn't it show in the player rating?
If you move a midfielder trained as an offensive one to the defense midfield, he will get the same rating.

Differences between putting a player more in off or more in def is roughly somwhere in the range from 3 to maybe 10%. SO there are differences in rating, but we dont see them, because they are small. In the future, when players will be getting ratings of 60-70-80 and more, those differencies will be better seen.
Also ALL players except GK that are on the pitch are considered in the attacking team strenght number, but their influence is really really small if they are not in the offensive fields, lets say maybe 5% for the ones that are in the midfield, and maybe 3% from those in defence.

Yes, I agree with that but training midfielders defense or offense is pretty much pointless.
we must ask him to move them next match and see diference... i think player rating is only cosmetic ,game engine work on diferent way...
Yes, but as PPM once said, the zone the play is in is what determines the players skill at the time. So if a forward is in the defensive zone, then the forwards attacking attributes are fairly useless.
So by training more defensive style tactics into a defensive midfielder, you ensure that when they play defense you have essentially an extra center back there to help give better defensive play.

So in theory, since the players move around the field the best way to train an outfield player (not goalkeepers) would be to train all attributes the same, ratio 1:1.
Who's gonna try it so we can see it in practice?

..all attributes the same except goalkeeping*
For goalkeepers you would have to train just 5 attributes.
For goalkeepers you would have to train just 5 attributes.
Well yes, but that same theory could apply to any real life football game. A striker's skill is only truly used in the offensive zone for example.
