you are absolutely right. everything about this game is just random. why do you even bother setting up the lineup and tactics then? Why do you bother coming here and complaining. If it's a random game, why bother playing it?
I just don't understand why you cannot accept the fact that there will be matches that don't go according to plan. It happens. Barcelona lost to Getafe the other day. Getafe had 1 shot on goal.
If you cannot accept that these kinds of things will happen, maybe you should play another game.

You just need to adjust the win %'s a bit, that's all. For example, I should win every game when my team is better, 75% when evenly matched, and have a 50% chance to upset a better team...

Adjust the goals / shots ratio.
That will imply in a most accurate wins sheet.

Sorry Vlady, can´t see how RL examples will help debating our simulator calculations.
well I can't see how posting isolated results from the game here help with seeing the big picture. They are just isolated results.
For me it's about feeling.
As someone who love football and manager simulations - I just don't have impression that tactic is the key factor in this game. I can't sense why I lose or win - is it bad luck or bad tactic.
Thats why I think tactical aspect and game engine must be the highest priority. As Sim Managers we must get feeling that we tacticaly outplayed our opponent.
Thats my opinion about what still missing.

How should this work?
It sounds good if I am not the opponent...
( as the opponent,if would have 50% if I am better,25% if even and 0% if worse...)

Completely disagree. In hockey it used to be a case of getting the right tactic to counter the opponent - you could beat much stronger teams that way..But that wasnt tactics, it was a game of paper-scissors-stones that gave an advantage to the players who knew about it. Personally i was happy that went away.
Football is about getting the right players and training them well. The matches you can adjust some things to help you win but cant guarantee a result. Any game like this is about maximising your chance of winning. The day it becomes a game where you cant lose if you do one thing, i will stop playing.

Did I say something about counter tactic ?
The day - when football become game where best players guarantee the result - I stop watching it.
More complex game engine - with individual plays - gives more tactical aspect - simple as that.
I can't understand that someone like to play football manager simulation as construction and trade simulation (or something like that).

construction and trade similation are part of football in RL,too.
An important part.
Of course I would like an more complex engine (f.e. with individual tactics),same as others, too.
I am afraid, this is a question of the costs.
foreign sponsoring on trikots of non-Pro-Pack-Players could be a way to gain more money for a better GE... (f.e. the Non-ProPack Players dont run for PPM,but for Nivea or Coca-Cola,or so...)

dont get me wrong, croatia had similar shit games, but that was not becouse of random event, it was just that they played VL against VH. It was obviusly that players didnt play not even with 50% of their strength.
Here is fact that you will lose after long enough streak, no matter if oponnent is strong or weak, and that is part of this game that is illogical.
Or tell me why weaker teams have sometimes 90-100% shot/ goal ratio and strong teams about 0-70%

Hey guys, my lvl 14 training is 66 days from being done. In those 66 days I should get enough sponsor cash, plus season-end prize money plus cash from player/staff sales and ticket sales to reach, or be within reach via a loan, of building lvl 15 training. I've always wanted to build lvl 15 and it is easiest to do this when expenses are lowest. That being said, my stadium capacity has really fallen off the map.
Looking for feedback. I've thought of lots of pros/cons. Looking for things I haven't thought of. Thanks amigos

that's where you're wrong. Every match is a separate entity, not influenced by previous results. The fact that you lose after a streak of wins is a natural occurrence in any type of mathematical calculation where the outcome is not given.
And to your question, why not? Why don't you look at the overall stats instead of just single matches? You'll see the difference. If a weak team has 1 shot in a match and scores, then it's logical it has a great percentage. Any shot has a chance to be a goal. Even if it's the weakest shooter against best goalkeeper. If I was in the right place at the right time, I could beat the best goalkeeper in the world, whoever that may be. And I'm not good at soccer.
