I don't think it's ever worked that way, it only removes down to 3 lines if they start with more than 4. If they start with 3 there is nothing to "react" to since they didn't change

But that's the rub, if a team chooses to play with 3 lines randomly, I want my coach to see that and adjust accordingly.

Enjoy it while you can It looks like they've finally decided to fix this. New teams will now start with much better players. I think it's the league average OTR, but I don't know where I saw that.

Surprising hat trick from a 4th liner in a tight 3-2 win. After falling behind 0-2 in the first 7 minutes! I expected worse. I'm now starting 6 d-men with less than 13 experience. I'm sure it'll get worse on the road. And I'll probably be dropping down the table. LIke today, I might have to use my good goalie a bit more to try to offset the young d-men.
