Tied with the purple cows in a crazy game, i outshot them and everything, but they scored a goal with 1 minute left to tie it.

hmm, a little disappointed with how that last game turned out
They must have a good goalie or something. I did the same thing. Hit on tactics, dominated shots, lost 3-4. Gave up two shorties. Ouch

My shooting is low across the board, it's an issue i'm trying to address

My game today would have been closer if I didn't geuss tatics right. I train my shooting 1 to .7 for Offensive players and 1 to .6 for Defensive players. Still shooting is my lowest number in my team strength ratings.
With your shooting that high your players are shooting even if they are not in a good position and this will lower your percentages.
That's how I'm running my team too. Unfortunately, I'm doing it at the expense of primary skills (and my ORs are no where close to yours!) this season. My wingers are all 80O/70S, 70/60 & 60/50. Sort of like that. I'll be happy if I survive this season while I get the secondaries into shape. Then I'll hit the primaries next season and expect instant results

Grats, tujague. I hadn't noticed that you used normal on me. By the way, I've noticed that you're arena is "The Squirrel Cage", add that to your name being the "Atomics", and I'd have an off the wall guess that you're a nuclear electrician (perhaps in the Navy).
What? How? taloncarde, how did that happen? Do you have players in camp or something? I'm the road team, both of us on Low, you won the tactics, and you have a much better team. I assumed this game was a loss a long time ago. But we got a 2-1 win. In regulation. Sweetness.
