Well, I think Jumping is really just for shots and rebounds, same with Aggressiveness, it's mainly for the tall players who are battling for the rebounds.
Speed is obviously important if you just wanna keep up on the court.
But I believe blocking is more for the "1 v 1" side of the game.

Reason I asked about blocking is because I had a disagreement with the U19 manager - he dresses his own player and I said mine was better
His:
67-30-130-87-88-30-30 = 462
Mine:
40-94-100-80-81-45-46 = 486
Blocking 30 vs 94
Told him he was in my league
Our team ratings:
Him:
38-37-36-30 - His record 3-11
Mine
33-34-33-37 - My record 13-1
My only advantage is defense or blocking
big advantage
that has to mean something

Well, his player is better offensively and yours is better defensively. And the rating of his PG is 38 and yours is 33. So he's not really wrong.
I know him he's my friend and I know his record is 3-11 because he was using a "yolo" tactic. He was only doing set plays on his SG that has 140 in Shooting. And he also has pretty bad subs, it's certainly not helping.
But it doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing with the U19 team.

Defense beats offense in real life and in simulation sports, yes the PG ratings are 38-33 but 94/30 means something...Not sure I understand about his tactics/set plays, is he trying to lose?
Kim is actually 3rd on the list for the U19 team. Munro is better rating and better in shot, which is what we are looking for for the PG position. It could change if he gives bad performances in friendly. (but he's rocking the friendly yet).
Casey is 2nd because he has a abtter shot against, better rating and he'S 18yo so we want to prepare him for the next year too.
Sorry but your player won't play in U19 unless of a injury and unless of counterperfomance, it won't change. If you want to continue the discussion go on the U18 thread.

It's fine that you disagree with how we manage the U-19 NT, however, there's a way to express your insatisfaction without sounding like a brat.
Comparing our league records in order to "prove" that your player is better is fallacious. I experimented with a certain tactic in league games and it didn't work out obviously, but that doesn't mean your player is better than mine.
As I told you earlier in PMs, Munro is better (way better) than Kim in what we (xSakic19x and I) as the important attributes for a point guard. We believe that having a PG with a high blocking attribute is useless because most of the time the PG will be guarding the other PG and usually neither of them take a high number of shots. Munro offers us way better passing, better technique and speed along with some shooting. This is sufficient to justify him as better than Kim.
If you think that you can do better than us, I would gladly recommend you to apply for the position next season.
Cheers,

The question I do believe was about importance of blocking as you can see I have trained quite a bit on my PG no need to be so sensitive - as far as shooting goes, size matters as does jumping where my player also has an advantage...BTW hope you choose better tactics in U19 you know, ones that work...I also doubt that high blocking on PG is "useless" from the guide: "The blocking attribute is used by players in defense. Blocking represents the ability of players to block both shots and opponents who are getting ready for a shot. Blocking is also important in the efforts to force a turnover by disrupting the play of the attacking team and intercepting passes"
That would be incorrect, jumping is useful when defending shots aswell. I forgot to add that technique also takes part in defense. There's a reason why it says players with high aggressiveness and low technique commit more fouls.
The easier way to know for sure that those attributes help in defense. Check out what which attributes the offense coach help and which attributes the defense coach helps.
Pas sht only offense, blk agr only defense, the rest does both

That missing the playoffs thing lasted long
I did not see that coming at all. I thought he was 4th best team, but now he's 1rst.
And now I play vs him tomorrow.

I can still fall... gravity, thou art a heartless bitch.
