Subject: US Senior National Team

Quick recap of today's game:

We had a great tactic switch at the half. It was planned. We were thinking that Turkey might switch to wing shooting if they were losing and they did. Switching to the 5-1 was a great way to maintain, and extend, our lead.

Lloyd Russ performed well once again in his 2nd game on the national team despite having limited U.S. chemistry at this point. With Pascale Baumgartner injured for one more game, and day to day for yet another game, Russ will be a necessary part of a few more games in the short term, so it's good to see him do well yet again.

Marty Kemp and Stacey Wells shined in todays game with 15 goals between them. Mario Tubbs had a bit of a rough game on the left side, scoring on only 3 of 8 attempts, and turning the ball over a whopping 6 times. He accounted for all but 1 of our 7 Turnovers in today's game.

While none of the other players were really that noteworthy today, as a team we played very well. We only had 7 turnovers (which is gonna be tough for any team to win against), a decent amount of steals and blocked shots, and only 6 shots wide (forcing the other team's goalies to be very good in order to have a chance at winning).

All things considered, I'm pretty happy with today's game, I'd imagine bulls is too (once he calms down about the whole Iran upset over CR).

I know it is misleading. Iran did horrible last season. changed manager, put a very good team this season and they are playing even their friendlies on VH to build chemistry quicker

for some reasons I wont post here (not to give other managers advantage) I dont think turkey has good chance to upset teams. It can happen, but unlikely.

With Czech loss, Portugal could play their last match on VL as they would be qualified. That could ... arg, help Iran.

Best case scenario is Portugal to beat Czech on their next match and Turkey the following. They would come to our match also qualified and likely in first

Anyways, next match we rest and watch. It is the best time to run camps if you can do it.

let me correct yourself.. Tubbs had a GREAT match, he had 6 ASSISTS not turnovers. he was the main creator and reason why others had easy shots. he had just one turnover

Iran once again was involved in an upset match. However, this time they were the ones that suffered the "unexpected" loss to Turkey.

Portugal beat Czech and with that win and Iran loss they are already qualified to next stage.

USA plays Iran next. a win would qualify USA to the next round.

Pascale Baumgartner will be out and Lloyd Russ will start in his place.

USA just beat Iran and we are in the finals!!!!
Next 2 matches I will be resting 5 players that currently have the most chemistry.

Mario Tubbs , Frederick Schneider , Stacey Wells , William Jack and Logan Mallory will be given a 2 week vacation

Rested our main players and have a mix team of "key" players that need more chemistry and youngster.

we managed to beat Portugal today and kill their plans to finish the league without a single loss.

Czech beat Turkey and as result they are also qualified and eliminated Iran.

News: As I was afraid it would happen what happened before with hockey, the other database is dead. I am planning to convert our to multi country so other countries can use. There are, currently, two countries interested on using it.

IMPORTANT:
Please upload your 15yo players to the database before season end and reupload them once new season starts.

sample of players under consideration are Morris Stratton and handball_player=2013049]

They have their main attributes (including sho/blk but not the least important attribute) are at around 90+ and current OR are around 400+

Least important attributes are to have at around 70+
shooting and/or blocking at around 80+ at least.

On a side note. Soon i ill have to select 18 players to play the Finals. The starters are defined but the 4 slots reserved for backup are yet to be selected.

the battle is : experience versus prospect.

experience has the benefit of if we have an injury, we have a more ready player to replace.

top prospect has the benefit of gained training bonus.

I am open for discussion as i have not made my mind yet.

- Is 15yo Michael Beckley under consideration?
- Regarding the final 18 players, we've been back and forth on this many times, but I'd still argue on talent at this moment, Thomas Hyde is better than Marty Kemp (and he's a starter).

i have no scouted him yet (although i see u imported him on 7/12/2014) and I have not looked at players yet. I added a few 15yo this season pretty much for a friendly although one of them, young, has more shots at playing more.

For next season i will want to look at all 15yo (soon to be 16) and then list the players under consideration. they will actually play since we can rest players with full chemistry.

I gave an example as a player i scouted just as a sample. Have not looked at new players yet. I know there were some very good players pulled late season and there is still a draft at the end of season that could net top prospects.

There is one extra thing regarding of those 15yo to be considered. I will talk to the managers as I would want commitment of playing them all friendlies and league matches. Experience gain will be key.

Hyde .... He is sure worth just like matt kearns and many others. Those Id consider backup when something goes bad. As for example, we lost our 1st goalie and i called Donaldson.

they are already 4/6 CL we know they are not the "future". some starters will start to fade as Tubbs and unfortunately Schneider due to low facilities. Tubbs manager is trying to catch up but may be too late. Scheneider has no shot at keeping as starter if he stays in his current team.

Kemp and Hyde are about same now. Hyde has 300% more shots as being a backup (or even replace a starter) due to the fact his manager has no players in the NT.

the CB is the position i have struggled most to define (in both seasons) and is a likely position to have a replacement next season.


when i talk about prospect versus 'matured" for the 18 players to be locked to the finals examples are layers already on the team or that i could use with my last 3 slots.
