for your hockey team, i think education is almost useless at this point. you can always buy top staff for cheap nowadays.

If I had to start over, I think id focus on stadium, HR and SA only. And would not even care about TF and regeneration. Id just buy old veterans that dont need to be trained and try to pull top quality players go sell for great revenue.
and build the TF/Regeneration slow. In short, id try to pull players for sell not to keep until i can generate tons of revenue from stadium and sponsors.

I started late on hockey and try to build the normal way. it just does not work once people are way ahead of you.


i think that when one starts earlier, one will want to build facilities faster than others while keeping team competitive and generate good amount of money.

Side note. I had just bid on 2 goalies, one was 13 points higher in OA, but was lower in the 3 goalie attributes.both bidding at the same time. the 1st goalie was getting bidders left and right so I kept bidding in small increments.Meanwhile the other goalie just sat there, no bidders. I kept em all bidding on the first one and walked away with a better goalie for 30k. The other goalie sold for 1.1 million.lmao. So technically, if the market holds up, i can resell him for a nice profit.
I've no real goal to finish well this season,just a building season.

keep on mind that with low HR level, the qualities you see in the market are very unreliable.

the better Or goalie could have been much worse quality player. but .. if you cant train them, it does not really matter. Just have some cheap to be competitive for one season while you build your facilities.

winning is very important specially on division 3 as the sponsor money isnt high. having high OTR is very important.

I did well last season in hockey, went undefeated. NOT a hard thing to do in the league I was in. This season my main focus is 2 things, finish well enough to not promote or relegate,and reap a much better sponsor deal. I've got a fair share of high quality/expensive players whose contracts are running out this month,which I intend to dump for cheaper players. I've been focusing on the facilities a good bit as it helps with the players and i hope sponsors. Havent done much with the scoreboard.lights, rink at this point, likely next season. I foresee me playing passively the next 2 seasons, just hard enough to keep sponsors paying well and getting to the point I can build players fast enough to turn them around.
My first season i started late, and made ALL the rookie mistakes, fortunately though some have now paid off.

scoreboards, lights, etc you will not need until you have 50% or more of stadium built. I never had any problem selling out my league games without any stadium additions. So it may take 3 seasons before you even think about it.

When it comes to sports directors, which attribute is best for acquiring talented youths with high quality? Youth training or player training?

Youth training.

I think a higher Youth Training ability will provide youths with higher Overall Rating, but quality is always random.

How many staff members do you guys have for each role??

wondering why it takes so long now for the stats to update. Used to be about an hour wait, now it seems that the stats after a match dont update until the following day.Which is typically about 7 hours later.

The standings happen shortly after. The stats occur at 9PM Eastern.

Yeah. It's always been like this for soccer and handball. Hockey will update a few minutes after the games.

What is the best defense against a 3-2-1 offense? I've done some testing on this but not enough to determine. My tests were also flawed by bringing in better players during the process, so im really in the dark here.

What do you mean by 3-2-1 offense?
