Cap, do you want me to put the Finland players on Imgur or something? I'm talking about a screenshot. If you want it another way let me know. I'll do this before I step away from the game.
That would be good way to post the players. You could send me a message with the links. Thank you for your help even with the scouting before stepping away from the game.
Thanks again to everyone who helped with and is helping with scouting the competition for the U18 World Championships. I've created a spreadsheet using the information for all the other teams in the group, and it has helped me evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and how their rosters compare to the United States roster. As expected, the other teams have slightly better depth in some areas, but the United States still looks very competitive and has certain advantages even after comparing rosters. The priorities for training players are a little different on each team.
I made a few final changes to the WCH roster. I can carry 28 players, including 6 bench players. I like to carry the next best player at each position.
I initially chose Kelly Joseph as the 3rd string goaltender due to CL, but when I reviewed the best players I had scouted but didn't add to the roster, Ross Copeland seems to have passed Joseph, so Copeland will be the third string goaltender.
There was one more spot on the roster, so I gave it to the player who was the closest to making roster, Jonathan Sauer from the Sierra Stars in II.1 (he has good training and great experience); he won't play for the WCH though unless there are a few injuries.
I had planned for Iler to be the third string LD, but a lot of players passed him. Also, Medley had bad luck with injuries this season and didn't progress as well as I had hoped he would, so I needed Garrett to move from 3rd line RD to 2nd line LD, creating another RD spot in exchange for an LD. I gave the new RD spot to Woodson who almost got lost when the North Stars folded and almost didn't make the team this season. Powell turned out to be the 5th best C (passing Kitchen) and Novak turned out to be the 5th best RW (the other player saved from the North Stars).
I will be posting the list of players I need help scouting for next season shortly. There aren't too many - one manager could possibly cover all of them.

I have sent requests for scouting information to the managers of the teams I haven't yet scouted (most of them were in division III as of season 18 or have otherwise been good about sending scouting information in the past).
I copied and pasted the message and replaced the players but forgot to edit it properly in few cases - sorry about that.
I'll list the players I don't hear back about at the start of next season.
Since the Rainbow Unicorns haven't been active recently, I'll list their players now in case I need to quickly add their interesting players next season.
The Rainbow Unicorns (II.4): Corey Perrault/Don Parent/Ryan O’Shea

Just sent you my list. with a couple of exceptions they are very high quality and with good training ratio. if you going to add any to the team, let me know so i check those more often for training ratio.

The United States beat Croatia, the reigning world champion, 4-3 in a shootout today.
As far as shots, faceoffs, and penalties, the game was really close, though Croatia converted on two of three power plays while the United States converted 0 of 2. Even so, the even strength scoring by the United States was encouraging. All three of the the top three lines contributed to the scoresheet. The United States managed to conserve some energy by using 4 lines through the first two periods.
Croatia opened with a worrisome 2-0 lead, but the United States quickly closed the gap. Croatia took a 3-2 lead in the second, but the United States tied the game again before the end of the period. Scruggs was solid in the shootout, and captain Michael Richardson scored the game winning goal in the first round of the shootout.
Of the other three teams in the group, Croatia was the one that worried me the most due to their insane goaltender, so I'm happy to come out of this game with 2 points. Croatia had better goaltending and better defensive depth, but the United States had a better offense and much better shooting. The first line from the United States looks like the strongest line from the group, and the top 2 lines from the United States have better shooting than any other line from the group.
In the other game, Poland beat Serbia 5-1. Should the United States end up in a tie with Serbia, this first game will make a big impact when it comes to the tiebreaker. In addition, Serbia's loss could help Croatia to promote, which would make today's game count for the next round.
Tomorrow, the United States plays Serbia. A win would guarantee that the United States would advance to the next round. Even another overtime win would make advancing very likely. The United States should be very competitive against the remaining two teams.
Good luck to the U20 and Senior national teams later today.

Thank you! Good luck to you as well. With Matovina in net, you should still have a very good chance in the remaining games.
